Great lunch

Being from out of town some work colleagues took me here for lunch and it was really tasty. The Antelope burger with fries was excellent and the "beaver balls" for dessert are just bad for you in so many good ways. That and a corn dog appetizer put the bill around $35 - $40. The staff were... read more

Dropped in after a Texan game - We had the wings to start with though they were good the hot is way to spicy and believe me my husband likes spicy food. I choose the Grill Cheese with Smoked Spicy Tomato Soup. I asked about the "Spicy" part of the soup and the bartender indicated that it had just a... More

We went on a sunday for lunch. It was quite disappointing. Only a few beers from the tap and the only one i liked wasn't available coz they ran out. We ate mac'n cheese which had no flavor at all. It was just pasta in sauce without any salt and pepper. Same as the huge chicken sandwich. I will avoid... More

Went with a friend on Friday to enjoy the fish and grits. Mmm fantastic! Perfectly done, great choice for good food and sweet tea.

Good selection of local beers and great bbq, not easily reached by car. Large common area makes for interesting seating and conversations.

What a find!! Great atmosphere on the patio. Service was great!! I had a Nut Burger-- I was skeptically first but it was delicious-- variety of nuts made into party and topped with fresh made pickles!! Absolutely delicious. We started with fried pickles and they were some of the best I have ever had. So glad I found this place.... More

I have been going to Beavers for a couple of years now, and somehow I missed one of the greatest wonders of the world...The Beavers GUMBO!! Wow, I have had the burger, the catfish (one of the best meals ever), the chicken, etc..etc. But Revender (excuse the spelling if incorrect) must have been hiding it in the back for himself... More

Went to Beaver's on the recommendation of my son who lives in Houston. It was a great place for a nice lunch. The menu was varied and all of the offerings sounded delicious. Had the po'boy sandwich (very tasty) and there was enough for two people! Looking around, all of the meals seemed very generous. Will look forward to a... More

One of my favorite Houston spots. Great craft beer selection, great good, great atmosphere. I have been for brunch and for dinner and each menu is loaded with inventive entrees. The Duck Ruebang, the Beaver-ito, and the brisket queso are a few things that I would suggest. It can be a bit pricey, but definitely worth checking out!

I was pretty dissapointed here. The baked potato was awesome, it was a massive pile of goodness covered in bacon and cheese, and it was cooked perfectly. But the BBQ was just subpar. And the drinks were expensive and not all of them that good. Its a great location and atmosphere though.
