Best Authentic Italian Pizza in town

Dolce Vita serves authentic pizzas. That means they are generally fairly simple in their ingredients and thin crusted, I really enjoy them but people that like deep dish pepperoni pizzas may not find them intersting

I took a seat at the bar and ordered a sprite. The sprite was out of the pump and tasted stale. When I told the bartender, he couldn't care less, his response was "we're in service, so there's nothing I can do about it". I ordered the carbonara, which arrived in no less that 5minutes after ordering, a clear indication... More

Ok...no matter what else you get order the shaved Brussels sprouts. One of the friends with us on this dinner experience dislikes them to the point of gag reflex. But she LOVED these. I don't know exactly what they do to them...but they are near perfect. Get some gorgonzola with honey. Yummy creamy cheesy goodness. Avoid the fava beans. It... More

We go there pretty regularly, the Pizza is good, but I think it used to be better then that a few years back. The service was pretty bad too last time we went, and it took for ever for them to bring the bottle of wine...we also were sitting across a gay couple who were making out like I've never... More

We are regular guests at this restaurant. Pizza is the best in town. Brussel sprouts with radishes and pecorino, muscles, egg toast with truffles they are all excellent. Pasta never disappoints. Good wine list. Friendly service. You will certainly find more expensive restaurants in Houston, but this place is a winner.

Easy to find, we only had a 30 minute wait on a Saturday night. We chose to wait at the bar and try some of their specialty drinks, which were good! We requested an outdoor table, and it was very nice, despite being in the 80's outside. The fans and breeze kept it cool. The waitstaff was awesome. The food... More

We are regulars at Dolce Vita because they offer excellent pizza, a good selection of antipasti (fried artichokes, arugula salad, the salumi and many other dishes are great), well-made pasta (bucatini all'amatriciana are sublime) and the best Italian wine list in Houston. Every time we sit outside on the patio and enjoy a leisurely Sunday meal with a glass of... More

The food, the wine, the pizza, the appetizers, everything was amazing. Even the vegetarian appetizers are a thing there. I love it.

As an ex New Yorker I have been frequently critical of Italian food in Houston ,not anymore.from appetizers to pizza to the daily specials you will not be disappointed.their daily specials such as a recent lamb stuffed meatball were incredible. Any pasta special with truffle oil is a must

Was in town for the Cross Court volleyball tournament. Took my daughter and her boyfriend here for dinner. Had the shaved brussel sprouts appetizer and the fried mozzarella. Both were awesome. Two of us ordered pizzas, which were fantastic. The crust was perfect, the sauce was great, and the cheese was so fresh. My daughter had the pork chop. It... More
