Nice!

Great Italian appetizers prosciutto, Gorgonzola & roasted cauliflower - followed by authentic Italian wood fired oven pizza. Server good too who made our family dinner very pleasant - will visit this restaurant again on next visit to Houston.

As an ex New Yorker I have been frequently critical of Italian food in Houston ,not anymore.from appetizers to pizza to the daily specials you will not be disappointed.their daily specials such as a recent lamb stuffed meatball were incredible. Any pasta special with truffle oil is a must

Was in town for the Cross Court volleyball tournament. Took my daughter and her boyfriend here for dinner. Had the shaved brussel sprouts appetizer and the fried mozzarella. Both were awesome. Two of us ordered pizzas, which were fantastic. The crust was perfect, the sauce was great, and the cheese was so fresh. My daughter had the pork chop. It... More

I went with a friend for a celebratory lunch. It was wonderful! We arrived before the crowds at noon on a Saturday and were seated immediately upstairs by a window overlooking colorful Westheimer St. The waitstaff was prompt and cheerful. From the menu of small plates we ordered fried rapini and ricotta with mushrooms. The rapini were light, crispy and... More

I came here with my family to celebrate my nephew's 16th birthday. We had never eaten there before nor did we know much about it. It is a little difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area as the sign is not overly noticeable and the parking can be difficult. Valet is mandatory, but it is free.... More

Authentic Italian food and good prices, but our waiter was not very friendly at all and quite frankly none of the waitstaff were very friendly. We also had brought in a cookie for our son's 16th birthday and they wanted to charge us 2.00 a person to eat it there. They will not split checks either which I think is... More

My favorites at Dolce Vita are the small tapa/appetizers and the pizza. The appetizers are very small, and about $7. Each person could easily select two. They are generally very well-prepared, and there are some interesting options. If you are expecting a big pile 'o wings, this is not the place for you. Pizza is tasty and creative. The crust... This is a great place for pizza and pasta. They use top quality ingredients in their dishes, and also have great prices for the food they serve. They have a nice outdoor seating area, great for the summer and warmed up in the winter time.

Over the past few months I have embarked on a mission to reacquaint myself with some of my favorite neighborhood restaurants of old. I’ve lived in Houston since 2004, but I traveled here from New Orleans at least twice a month for sometime before that and have enjoyed the city’s culinary offerings for the better part of 40 years. The... More

My wife and I frequent Dolce Vita. The food and service are consistently good. We typically start with a pizza and then split an entree. It is the perfect amount of food! Great wine selections and Moretti on draught! Parking is by valet only, but the valet does a fantastic job (i rarely get a ticket and they know to... More
