Met some friends at Pappas seafood house on Shepherd and Richmond. It's always amazing how clean the place is, how they pay attention to detail and how amazingly good their food is. The must have Greek salad was ordered and Celeste suggested a fine vintage! Redfish was fresh, but huge, and so we split. It was 110% good. Fresh, cooked... More

We had a crowd of 10 and the staff handled all of the requests graciously. Food was delicious - soft shell crab not listed on menu was yummy surprise. Difficult parking lot to maneuver.

I have been here four or five times when I have been in Houston on business, and have never been disappointed. I went last night with a co-worker when we arrived into town and, once again, had a great experience. He had the Halibut, which I've had before, and said it was great. I went with the seafood cobb salad... More

The Pappas chain restaurants are all over Houston and never disappoint. This one by Bush Airport is always excellent. Clean, reasonably priced, attentive and fast service, even during rush hours. Never been disappointed yet....

My wife and I had a layover in Houston on our way to Mexico. It was Friday during Lent, and we asked Hotel folks for a nearby seafood restaurant. We chose Pappas over Joe's Crab Shack as it was a Texas place. The place was jammed, so we had a drink and waited for table, and we were really hungry... More

Best selection of sea food in the area. Good service and true to Paqppa's reputation...you get more food than you can eat.

Seafood choices on the menu are varied and distinctly delicious! The wait to be seated is always about 15 minutes probably because people flock here to enjoy seafood. My family always enjoy eating here whether to celebrate special occasions or just to enjoy a hearty meal. I would recommend this place to others.

Came here for dinner on a business trip to Houston. Scott was our waiter. He was the man. Friendly and helpful, he helped make the experience. The food was good too, nice selection and you won't leave hungry. Try the local beers, they're good.

Admittedly I live very close to the ocean on the west coast and may be spoiled but I do not understand the outstanding reviews of this restaurant. Portions were large and were prices fair but I found the fried seafood platter all tasted the same. The waiter suggested the blackened fish and I should have listened to him. I would... More

We had never eaten at one of the famous Pappas restaurants. When we reached Pappas Seafood House it was about 5:30 and the place was already hopping; people just kept coming. It's a very large restaurant and so there is plenty of seating, but eventually there was a queue to get in. We went directly to the bar because we... More
