I so enjoy this place. It has a great family ambiance, the service is quick and very friendly. It is a great meal, I loved their seafood quesadillas and took a bite of my brother's steak fajita plate, very yummy. It's very affordable and the big portions. I loved their spanish rice and all their side orders were really good.... More

We stopped by here while visiting relatives in Houston. It's one of those off-the-highway places, but was surprisingly good and very kid-friendly. From the Vegas-style sign outside to the warm, cute ambience inside, this place didn't disappoint. I live in southern California, so have a pretty high bar when it comes to Mexican food, but Gringo's was good and the... More

I love this place. When you walk in a waiter/ waitress shows you to a table. Soon after a basket of chips and salsa is delivered for you to munch on while you wait for your food. I ordered nachos and was amazed. The food was delicious. It also came with Spanish rice and refried beans. They give decent sized... More

We went here because of a recommendation from our hotel and were very pleased. It was a very busy place, but no wait even on a Friday night. Service was awesome, thanks Fermin. Food was great, and the salsa was just right. All 4 in our party were okeased, even the vegetarian.

Gringo’s is a class act. Usually the place is crowed. That’s a sure sign the food is good and worth the wait. The beef fajitas are my favorite, but there are so many other great entrees. Their margaritas are among the best in town. The free ice cream on the way out is a plus. Gringo’s is not your average... More

We had never stopped at this Gringos, but were going to galveston from IAH. It was a late lunch, and ther were quite a few people there. Very close to Hobby. The service was good and we noticed they had added "bowls" to the menu. I you have eaten at Bullritos you would know what I mean. I had the... More

For my first taste of real Tex-Mex, I think this was a pretty satisfying experience. I guess my only major gripe was that I couldn't find anything hot or spicy enough to make me sweat a little. Well, that, and their limited draft list (4-5 beers). The chips and salsa/mole tasted homemade. The queso dip was a step above jar... More

We ate here our last night in Houston and the food was good. I didn't care for the salsa but the chips were good. Waitstaff was great and my chicken dinner was very good.

Gringos is my favorite TexMex place that I regularly visit. An easy couple times a month. Its just too good. An my personal favorite, to which I have not found even a close match anywhere else is the Seafood Enchiladas!
