The place is a good option for the brazilian community in Houston to gather and have some of the traditional Brazilian food. I'd not qualify the place as being a must-go but it serves its purpose.

Accompanied some friend here for dinner one evening and was very surprised. Very nice clean place with excellent food. From the appetizers through desert everything was top notch. The prices here are very reasonable for the quantity that you receive with a good presentation. The service was friendly and attentive without being even close to overbearing. We sat and enjoyed... The wife found Emporio while researching Brazilian food. Its only a mile from the house so we stopped in. I haven't had any experience with Brazilian food so I can't speak to authenticity. But it was a very enjoyable meal. The Set Up: Emporio is located in the back of a retail center. I must have driven by a hundred... More

Have not tried this restaurant for years (no drinks license in those days!), but decided to try it again yesterday. Fantastic! New location downstairs, with great décor and plenty of space. The menu is classical Brazilian - it had all my favorites and more (with pao de queijo to start the ball rolling). I had the moqueca and my wife... More

These people are incredible. They are so nice. I've returned time after time and they help me practice my português!!! The food is great and the owner even gave me a jump when my battery died one time. Everyone should definitely try this place.

Such a great find! I got tired of Brazilian restaurants in the US (or everywhere) being labeled only as churrascarias, so it was great to find a restaurant like this. Everyone there is from Brazil/speaks Portuguese, great food, loved the appetizers too (hm, I missed coxinha so much). I felt like I was going for lunch as I do in... More

Very Comfortable, very good service, and an opportunity for locals residents to try Brazilian Food without travel to Brazil. They serve an average of different Brazilian Food Regions and if you like to try different food you need to go there several times,. Try starting with "Feijoada" on Saturdays, one of the most famous Brazilian Food and to be perfect,... More

We always enjoy dining at Emporio Brazilian Cafe! One of my favorites is the Tropical Chicken and you cannot go wrong with any of the beef dishes that are so famous in Brazil. They start you off with these yummy cheese rolls, fresh out of the oven. They have some nice tropical juices that my children always order. The desserts... More

My favorite dish here is the tropical chicken. I crave it and often drive 30 minutes to eat there alone if I can't stand it anymore. The chicken is grilled very tender and covered with pineapple and onion. It is served with very delicious black beans. I ask them to skip the rice and substitute collards (yep. Collards. Trust me...
