Best Campechana in Houston

Maybe even the world – certainly willing to try them all! Seriously, we haven’t found any place that serves a better campechana. So much good seafood stuffed into a tall glass. DELICIOUS!!

Always return for good, fresh seafood. Kids love laid back atmosphere. Reasonably priced, fun for whole family.

They sell the Sonoma Cutrea (sp) by the glass - excellent chardonnay - however, focus on the seafood - the freshest and the best - I had the catfish filet with the rojo sauce and seafood rice - excellent - served hot on hot plates and cooked to perfection - my friend had trout - grilled, served hot and cooked... Saturday night we had an amazing dining experience. From the moment we walked in to the hostess stand the welcome was sincere, the white table cloths starched and waiting to be laden with delicious morsels from the sea. Grilled salmon and my personal fav, mesquite grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon. Our drinks weret constantly refreshed, the waiter was friendly and... More

Visiting over night on business with my husbamd and found this place on trip advisor. WOW....it was amazing!! We had Gulf shrimp, Campechana (a must), grilled red snapper and my husband the rib eye. Everything was delicious and well worth the price!!! My only complaint would be the echo throughout the building made it noisy and difficult to have a... More

This is a regular stop for us in Houston. The food is always good and the diner atmosphere is pleasant and not too loud. On this trip we split the shrimp and crab ceviche appetizer (ask the waiter to put it in a bowl if you are doing this rather than the parfait glass... it works better for two) and... More

Keeping in mind that this is a seafood place, I feel that they add seafood to things that shouldn't have seafood in them, like the rice. Also, I was not as impressed by the campechana as they seem to think people should be. All that being said, the salmon I ordered was delicious and our server was very knowledge about... More

This was my first time visiting, having tried before and couldn't find a parking space. The building is rather quirky, but has some great vintage black and white photos on display. I ordered the mesquite grilled farm raised redfish. It was a pretty small piece of fish and while it was basted, it didn't seem to add much to the... More

We had Campechana Extra (Mexican shrimp & crab cocktail), Texas Shrimp (bacon wrapped), Gulf Red Snapper w/ Atchafalaya (special dish) with some beer. Everything was just delicious! On top of that our server was very courteous & professional.
