Cool atmosphere

Don't mistake the BBQ place for this one. Bothe are Goode companies. This one is behind the BBQ. Food is really good seafood. Kinda like New Orleans style. All fresh.

Laid back diner. Campechana de Mariscos appetizer is very good. Good fish, rice and stuffed crab. Way too much food for lunch!

A referral from a long time Houston resident lead us to Goode Company Seafood. They don't take reservations but it was a Wednesday evening so we didn't have to wait. I was told to have the seafood( crab and shrimp combination ) campechana. I didn't... I had 2. and these are not little french restaurant portions. These are tall sunday-type... More

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, my husband and I decided to try this restaurant. I too needed a special diet before tests and scans at MD Anderson. We were not disappointed! Our server, Allison, was outstanding. She was helpful and very friendly, explaining the menu options well. My husband chose mesquite grilled swordfish, and I had the mesquite... More

My wife and I have been traveling to Houston for the past 3 years visiting MD Anderson. In the 14 times we have been to Houston, we have eaten here 13 of them. Each time the same as the last, AWESOME. We eat there on the night before all her tests and scans so she can eat something and not... More

What a delightful find! The atmosphere is charming. The seafood campechana was out of this world! $15 appetizer is shareable or a meal of your own. James, Travis and Chris went out if their way to make our meal one to remember. Grilled mesquite shrimp and stuffed shrimp excellent. Crab cake sauce was insanely delicious!

We ventured to this joint after searching for a fish restaurant on the way out of houston. We had an Easter special and a normal menu item with a unique twist recommended by the waitress. The Easter dish was so-so, but the other meal was great. The staff was attentive without being pushy, helpful and really genuine. The restaurant has... More

We were in the mood for seafood. Started with the seafood tamales - all I can say is amazing. I could have made a complete meal with just the tamales. But no, I had to try the campechana - this was amazing too. The only disappointment were the oysters on the half shell - probably the most tasteless oysters ever.... More

My husband is a big seafood lover, so we ate here when we were visiting. We tried the shrimp etouffee and the mesquite grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp was especially good. The service was efficient. It was very noisy though, so maybe not the best place for the hearing impaired if going during a busy time.

Crabmeat salad- yum. Ceviche appetizer- yum. Char-broiled catfish-yum. Great wait staff who were good about making sure I got the check when I asked them in advance. Group of 7 and was a great lunch for all.
