It was excellent as always..very busy but definitely worth the wait. We were there for a birthday dinner ( his fav place ) we brought a cake with us, the waitress went out of her way to serve us the cake.

From the beginning(seafood empanadas) to the end(pecan pie) everything is terrific. Small restaurant, so be prepared to wait.

The Campechana Extra appetizer is a "must try". This is so good I could easily make a meal of it. But everything in our party of 5 was excellent.

Flounder was average not bad but not really worth the$$ Cocktail sauce had consistency of axel grease just weird! Goode Company has a great reputation in Houston and they are still living up to it. The seafood restaurant is built in and around an old AmTrak rail car. Tiled floors, chrome chairs and tables, a counter with chrome stools, vintage photos of fishermen and women with their catch. A few televisions, but they don't take over the place. Their... More

Visited during dinner hour on a Saturday night. Minimal wait; < 15 minutes. They have a waiting area which is simply booths and high tables in the bar area, but the bar waitress comes to your table immediately to ask if you'd like to order drinks. Good business move! Took a chance on a frozen margarita at a seafood restaurant,... More

The oyster poboys here were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed them. We especially were pleased with the outstanding service which was prompt, attentive, informative. We were not that impressed with the desserts, though, and will likely skip them on our next visit.

The food does not live up to the ratings. The food is equivalent to Baytown Seafood and the prices to Pappasito's. I do not recommend Goode Seafood for date nights.

We've been going to Goode Company Seafood for over 20 + years, and I can honestly say that we have had always had good food, good service, and no one left hungry. Consistency and quality are what keep us coming back on a regular basis. Great place to bring out of town guests to sample some tasty Gulf Coast seafood.... More
