Delicious, Friendly, Open

Visited for a business lunch and the filet Mignon kabob was delicious. The environment is open and clean, and service was calm and quick enough.

A friend recommended this place above other choices because it got the thumbs up from his Turkish friends. We got the lunch special, which included soup or salad with either a hot entree or 2 cold appetizers. The 3 of us ordered 6 of the vegetarian cold appetizers (the lentil soup has chicken stock). All of them were delicious and... More

This place serves quite good Turkish food. I can recommend lentil soup, and one of their kebaps (Adana). It comes with sallad and rice. I would recommend you to just skip the rice - since the is usually not good there (have been there many times). Instead of this, they could put some more sallad -and bring more of their... More

Great atmosphere, great parking, and most importantly SUPER food. Never disappointed with anything we order. Must have the turkish tea at the end too.

Continuing our quest to visit many of the Mediterranean restaurants, we ate dinner here. We ordered the Empire Mixed Grill, which is plenty for 2. The plate presentation was excellent. Red Cabbage, onions, grilled peppers, tomatoes, and rice were covered with 4 types of kabob-grilled meat. The seasonings were just right. For dessert, we chose our favorite, keskul. We had... More

We had a team lunch with about twenty people at the Empire Turkish Grill. It was very well organised, they suggested mixed starters and mixed grill for mains and brought everything quite quickly. The quality of the food was outstanding. The service was decisive yet pleasant. It was a welcome variation to the usual steak restaurants for such events.

I've been to Istanbul a couple of times, and this Houston restaurant probably comes about as close as you can get to the real thing on the other side of the world. Service is attentive and friendly, but not perfect (see below). The restaurant is classy, with table cloths setting the tone for an otherwise very good value experience. Nothing... More

We sat outside on a warm October evening with the view of the parking lot... The service was intermittent but my dining partner and I were just fine with that as we were enjoying conversation and being out without the kids:) the food was amazing and definitely worth a trip back!!!

We had an early dinner at the Empire on a week night. We were given a basket of bread and some dipping sauce for starters. My cabbage rolls were flavorful and attractively presented with a cucumber-tomato salad on the side. My companion's chicken kebabs were grilled to perfection, served with rice, red cabbage and shaved onions, and both of us... More
