Two years ago was at a safety boot camp for my new employer. I and a fellow student saw this place and bribed the hotel shuttle bus driver to take us. Simply Unreal! Between me and my buddy the tab was $50.00. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Bring your wallet and an appetite. I recommend 'The Ruebenator'. We ordered a 'small' desert... More

Got lunch here to go one afternoon. The sandwich was on par with what the NYC delis have to offer -which I realize is in the name but something this far from NYC I did not expect to be as close to what they claimed to be. The sandwich was great -good flavor great bread, and sour pickles. I couldn't... More

Tried for the first time tonight and had a nice sandwich w sweet potato fries. The food was good, portions plentiful, and service was good. Was a great choice for a casual, quick sandwich on a rainy night. Will definitely go back.

One of the best parts about the whole experience was listening to some of the happy regulars who sounded like Italians from the old neighborhood ~ talking about life ~ I ordered the # 7 Reuben & it is huge, definitely enough for 2 1/3 people :) I was hungry and couldn't make it thru half, I did eat all... We went over the holidays for a late lunch and had 4 sandwiches between 6 of us. The pastrami was dry, added mustard and that made it ok. The rye was ok but too thin for the pound of pastrami. The sides that come with the sandwiches are nothing to write home about and are very small. We had ordered... More

While in Houston my daughter and I had breakfast here. She knew it had been featured on the Food Network. I had the Greek Omelet (included 3 eggs, spinach, tomatoes & feta cheese) with home fries and bagel/cream cheese. Daughter had Buttermilk pancakes. Loved the food and place!! Can't wait to go back!!

What a great place. When you step through the door, it's almost as if you've left Houston and stepped into New York. The staff is great. The food is phenomenal! They make their own corned beef and pastrami. Please bring an appetite, because the portions are fantastic. The staff are very friendly and the place is buzzing with energy. You... More

The famous chicken pot pie was disappointing. Enough chichen meat in it for 2 people. Not a lot of sauce and the puff pastry topping was just okay. Too much food for 1 person,

this place definitely has lots of charm and character. The service is very good, but borders a bit on pushy. At least during my visit. While the food is good, the prices really are absurd for a deli. I suggest you go at least once for the experience, but I won't become a regular for certain.
