The food is so fresh and so yummy, not to mention, very generous portions. Had the reuben and Matzo ball soup. Each item was enough by itself as a meal, so, the two of us shared both items and were very full. The soup was amazingly good and the meats in the Ruben were homemade. When the waitress found out... Inside has a great feel and buzz about the place - menu is giant and sandwiches can be giant. Lots to choose from and worth a return visit.

We decided to try this place for lunch after shopping all morning. We were hungry. But we did not expect this large. We shared a salad and a sandwich with chicken and beef. Between the 2 of us we couldnt finish. The chopped kale salad was tasty, nice dressing. But the sandwich everybody raves about was kinda tasteless. The beef... More

I live in Houston, and I love coming here when I want a taste of New York. Their sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. My two favorites are the French dip and the brisket sandwiched between two latkes, or potato pancakes. They also have really good breakfast. Baked goods are ok- the black and white cookies are too cumbly for my... More

Must be hungry to really enjoy this restaurant. Rivals any NY deli in New York. Sandwiches are large enough to share and a great idea, as this is a rather expensive deli. Order sandwiches "open faced."

I love DDD and I went here while staying at hotel in the Galleria. The waitress was very nice and the food was exactly what I expected - absurdly large sandwiches and cheese cake. Over all it was worth the price due to the portion. Bring someone with you to share a sandwich.

What a surprise! Our son wanted to try this place and we went in with only medium hunger. Not a good idea. The sandwiches were very large and the service was entertaining. Turns out our waiter was from a town near ours in Chicago. Had a great time.

Craving NY Deli in Houston? This is the place. Parking in the plaza was a challenge but we finally got lucky. Service was friendly. Food was really good. Prices were a little high, but we will return! Go for the Reuben!

We went to Kenny & Ziggy's for breakfast this weekend. The portions were huge even for someone who likes to eat big meals, but were so good we kept eating. The décor, service as well as the food quality were great and we will definitely return next visit to Houston.

We've been here a few times and we have enjoyed our food on both occasions. We've had the cheeseburger, the goulash, the patty melt and the Reuben. The restaurant is casual, very family friendly, and the menu is huge! Be aware the portions are HUGE. You will have leftovers. So split entrees and make room for dessert!! Everyone will find... More
