The corned beef is lean, not overly salty and generous. I am not a desert eater, but the portions walking by were absolutely huge. Potato pancakes were very good, as was the stuffed cabbage. Worth another visit!

As an ex-NYer who loves Jewish deli, Kenny & Ziggy's is the real deal. Excellent service from a knowledgable, courteous server, with a sense of humor. The portions are enormous. The flavor and quality are excellent. Try to save room for dessert.

Mile high deli sandwiches, knishes, soups, latkes and the like make this a must stop for any ex New Yorker in Houston who has been without his deli fix. All the standards are here and a limited, but spectacular, selection of combo sandwiches and meals for those needing the maximum cholesterol hit. FInish with a gigantic black and white cookie,... Pros: reasonably prices, fast service, meat was fresh Cons: oversized serving on a tiny plate, coleslaw drowning in dressing. I'd go back- particular with a family with kids, I think it's that sort of place.

I never thought I would eat breakfast in a deli with folks having great sandwiches all around me. The bacon was a specialty and amazing. The menu is extensive and I changed my mind three times. Everything is made fresh and the desserts are memorable. Service was also first class.

Reminds me of Katz's Deli in NYC. Wonderful choices and the ability to design your favorite meats in a HUGE sandwich. There was enough left to take home for lunch the next day.

This is another must-visit restaurant whenever I'm in Houston. The owners have brought a true New York deli to Houston, and it's honestly better than most delis I've been to in NYC. The portions are huge, they have pretty much everything you can imagine (including egg creams!). Go there hungry, and plan on having leftovers.

This isn't just the best deli in Houston, it's quite possibly the best in the country. In fact, I had a Washington, DC attorney that I met in a NYC jazz club that it was the best he'd ever had. While traditional deli fare such as corned beef and pastrami is as good as it gets, and the blintzes are... More

Great deli. The sandwiches come stacked a mile high. Very close to the galleria mall. The walls are lined with interesting pictures.

Yes, the place is massive. Yes, the servings are Texas-sized. BUT, the food is fabulous, the atmosphere terrific and you will not be disappointed. This is quintessential NYC deli, EXCEPT the servers are warm and helpful and NOT rude. You cannot go wrong at all with virtually anything on the menu. You can find something for everyone and every diet.... More
