Went for dinner. The food was average Tex-Mex and the margaritas are OK. The bill came and it was $110 for 2 people with 2 dinners and a small queso. I won't be going back.

The service was great and attentive. The magaritas were great. The queso good. The beef was a bit dry. The waiter forgot to ask how i wanted it to be cooked so i also forgot to tell him that i want it medium. The ambient is busy since they are always packed. At least it is a sign that they... More

We were at the Montrose location and the food was amazing. I was not used to warm salsa but it appears to be normal in the part of Texas. I just had a chorizo quesadilla but the entire party enjoyed their food. The real amazing dish was their green salsa that they served with their chips. It was like crack.

food was fresh and perfectly prepared. We were in and out quickly, but could have stayed if we'd liked. Didn't feel rushed. Good, friendly service. Despite other reviewers comments we thought it was a perfect balance of good food and good margaritas. Will go back

El Tiempo is absolutely one of the best restaurants for fajita's anywhere. The meat is always fresh and prepared perfectly. The portions are way better than anywhere else as well because the give the the weight after its cooked not before. The staff has always been profession and fast.

My wife and I had the fajitas and loved them. The rest of the crew reach r had other dishes and were happy with what they had. Several of them ate here before and it is one of their favorite restaurants.

I consider myself to be somewhat of a Fajitas connaisseur, and quite honestly, these fajitas blew me away. I would venture to say they have some of the best fajitas I've ever had in a restaurant. They are served on a hot grill that is kept warm with charcoal inside. The meat stays warm throughout the meal so you aren't... More

Lively, fun place for a great evening out. We ate excellent carne assada. The Margarita's though, were a bit disappointing compared to the excellent food. Nevertheless, a fun, noisy, and very popular Mexican restaurant.

Came into restaurant after hearing about it from several friends.I came in to grab a quick lunch. Like other reviewers have noted great salsa and great chips. I tried a somewhat sampler platter of the beef fajitas , cheese enchilada , and a crispy taco. It was all very good. The cheese enchilada has a strong chili powder taste, much... More

Visiting Houston and my friend drove me into Houston and El Tiempo. Only parking is chalet..it is complimentary. Service was good. Chips and salsa were great..nice thin chips. We ordered a pound of beef and chicken fajitas. Chicken was fantastic..very moist. They bring the fajitas out on a mini hibachi..very original. Tortillas were good too. Not crazy about the green...
