Nice Informal place, always full of customers. Their food is really good and their margaritas are great! Their fajitas are ine of my favorite dishes here. Their service is always polite with a smile, very accomodating. Pricewise, I'd say they are fair.

The only times I have been to El Tiempo were later in the evening. It's got a hustle and bustle atmosphere on the weekend evenings when all the Houston friends get together for margaritas and Tex Mex. Good food and good drinks, and fun restaurant for a late night out.

Food was good and plentiful but was a little bland. My wife thought so too. The margarita on the rocks was good but not the best in Houston. I had the Beef Taco. Looked good and tasted good I expected a little more flavor. My wife had the Shrimp Quesadillas and said they were good but Coyote Blues were better.

Everything about this restaurant we liked. The food, hospitality and prices. We had fajitas and quesadillas but all of the menu looked great.

Was not impressed. Got chicken enchiladas and the chicken wasn't seasoned like at all. I thought the standard was to serve pico or cheese or something in the inside....Overrated I've had better....was disappointed...

THIS is where you want to go if you want tex-mex or Mexican and you're in that area of town. The pork tacos are incredible. The black beans are seasoned perfectly. The fajitas are tender, charred to perfection, the tortillas (both the corn and the flower) are tender with just the right amount of thickness. The waitstaff is super polite,... More

I had dinner here with my young cousin one recent Friday after work. It was buzzing at this restaurant. We waited at the bar and had a drink first. Our service was excellent. The food was excellent and the drinks were excellent. Even though it was busy, they managed to still stay on top of good and fast service and... More

Best fajitas I've had in a long time. The presentation was fun. But the star of the show was the tortilla, I couldn't get enough. The margaritas and service are also reasons to visit.

This is by far our favorite Mexican Restaurant in the city...the fajitas are amazing and the price point is fantastic for what you get. The staff is awesome, friendly and very well trained. Great place all the way around...

We arrived somewhat early for dinner, about 4:30pm, and we were glad we did because the restaurant filled during the next hour. There was a crowd waiting for tables when we left at 6pm. Our party included people from California and others from Virginia. We chose this restaurant because it had good reviews and was close to the Beer Can... More
