Pappadeaux's is one of my favorite places to eat seafood in Houston. I tried the jumbo lump crab cake appetizer. It's served over a bed of crawfish in a light butter sauce. I will order this appetizer every time I go to Pappadeaux's. I definitely recommend it! My wife went with the shrimp and crawfish fondue which comes with garlic... More

Love Pappadeaux. But we made the mistake of picking the South Loop location to visit relatives at what we thought was an early enough time in the evening, 6 pm. Ha! That place was rockin'. However, I had met the new manager at the Westheimer store and she was able to relocate us in the back where we could at... More

Really enjoy Pappadeaux. Especially the fried shrimp. There are several of these in Houston and all are fantastic. Good service and friendly bar staff

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, so if you enjoy your company you'll enjoy your visit. The seafood is good but not great. The Shrimp Gumbo is a great start but I had one of the highest priced entrees, Jumbo sea Scallops & Shrimp, and it didn't live up to its price and the taste and portion was average. This... More

This was our 3rd visit to a Pappadeaux restaurant as there are none in the state we live in. It had been a year since our last visit in another city and we were excited to be staying close enough to have dinner here. We were not disappointed. We had shrimp appetizer that was so good we even cleaned the... More

This is one of our favorite places to have seafood because it's so different from just your ordinary seafood places in the Houston area. The flavor may be Cajun but it's not too spicy. The staff is so accommodating, if there's any changes or substitutions you want to make on their menu items, hey do it with a smile and... More

Dinner at Pappadeaux will always make for an exceptional Louisiana dining experience. Start with their perfectly prepared gumbo. They mix a grand Captain's Hurricane and have an impressive wine list. The shrimp creole and grits was amazing. For dessert, the sweet potato pecan pie was an unusual delight. The service is tops and done with style. Though a bit pricey,... More

I love this place. Whether you dine in or drive thru the food is always good. Nice large dining room, great food, large servings, staff is friendly, restrooms are clean. What more could you want.
