My trip to Houston included a visit to this restaurant. This was my first visit to Pappadeaux, but it will not be my last. The food was pricey but well prepared and full of flavor. The wait staff was attentive. The noise level was high, we were seated in an area with 2 groups that had 6+ people each; this... More

Wow! This was some of the BEST seafood I've eaten! The amounts are enough for 2 people and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the blackened catfish w/ a shrimp étouffée pistolette! Amazing! Also had the famous turtle brownie dessert w/ the caramel & chocolate sauce drizzled over it? Wow! This place is good eatin!!!!!

Arranged a dinner for 26 of my sorority sisters when we were in town for a convention, and the dinner turned out very well. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious. One thing about Pappadeaux is that they give a generous amount of food. Big Thanks go out to Alex Ortiz who helped me arrange the dinner.

The food at pappadeaux is always amazing! What is not consistent is the service. From the time of arrival we were quoted a 55 min wait time and we were seated in 10 mins. Not a bad thing but we typically would have not bothered to stay for such a wait time and we could have missed out. Service was... More

Wide range of menu options but stuck with seafood gumbo. Good flavor, fresh, with a little kick to it. That and a beer and you have lunch. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere.

First time visitor. Have heard about this restaurant in the Atlanta area for years now. Now that I've visiting Houston, I find that there are several locations there. Talk about YUMMINESS. Basically Creole-style seafood dishes. LARGE portions. Lots of drink options (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Expansive dessert cart selections. We had a pre-serving water spill incident that necessitated that our table... More

We just moved to Houston, found a Pappadeaux and had the same most gratifying meal and experience we were expecting from past visits to the same restaurant in Atlanta.

The atmosphere has changed throughout the years, the clientelle is not the classiest, but you go there for the food and you will enjoy every bite. Most dishes are cajun style, but there are some that are just plain delicious and continental. The prices keep going up, but the portion are not small. Service is good for the most part.

Love the Seafood fondue and the Swamp Thing! I'm not a drinker, but wow... the Swamp Thing is stupendous! Our waitstaff was on point. The food was excellent. We had fried shrimp, gumbo and a PoBoy. The gardens outside were beautiful. We all left very full and with smiles!
