Although most of my friends love this place, I am yet to be amazed by it. In the 25 years that my friends have dragged me to the different Pappasitos (including this one), I am still waiting for that one dish that makes me want to come back. Yes, you do get a ton of food, but you can get... More

I had lunch with my work colleagues, and we had a great time. Food took a little bit to arrive because we were a large group, but it was fantastic. Chips are thin and crispy, and salsa is just good. I ordered a freshly squeezed lemonade that was really refreshing. My main dish was " Beef fajita tacos al carbón",... More

Good Tex-mex food, not much different than many of the other sit down tex-mex places in Houston. I can't think of anything specific that sets it apart from similar restaurants. If you rarely get tex-mex food or are visiting the area, this is as good as place to get your fix as any. Salsa and green dip are really good... More

Our favorite TexMex restaurant. Restaurant can be loud when crowded but don't let that deter you. The food is fantastic.

This is exactly what I wanted when we came to Texas! We were searching for a lighter lunch after a long afternoon of shopping, and we randomly discovered this restaurant. We ordered the shrimp fajitas for 5, and it was out of this world delicious. I've never had fajitas before, but they were just indescribably flavorful and delicious! Everyone at... More

When at home San Francisco, I'm a regular patron of taquerias where the food is good and easy on the wallet. However, there's nothing tasty or authentic about Pappasito's food. The food was bland and overpriced. Even the name has a double "p" which one would never find in Spanish. Avoid

Let me put it this way... I live in Washington and travel all over but I will not eat any other Tex Mex than Pappasito's in Houston. I stick to my all time favorite - chicken and shrimp fajita's. Now keep in mind, the portions here are large so be careful in ordering. If you are thirsty, try the Reserva... More

Stopped by one midweek evening, sat at the bar and again ordered one of the specials, this time mahi-mahi and lobster and it was truly amazing, service knowledgeable, attentive and friendly as always, great for a group or great on your own at the bar - go there Rob

It is sometimes hard to wrap your head around the idea that a Greek family started such a great Tex-Mex restaurant in the heart of Tex-Mex territory and has been this successful for so long. In a town loaded with Tex-Mex places normally run by native Hispanic owners, everyone seems to like the idea of a trip to Pappasitos...and this... More

My dad and I have gone to Pappasito's for years. I love Mexican food and this is definitely a good representation of Tex Mex! The staff are great and handle big crowds pretty well. This place gets PACKED!
