We have heard great things about this restaurant and have been waiting for some time to dine here. The wait was well worth it indeed. Previously we had been on a trip to Italy and everything was so good we were hesitant to try any "upscale" Italian back home in fear that it wouldn't live up to the hype. To... More

Great italian food perfect for a date night! The atmosphere is romantic, they had live music and a well stocked bar with great service all around. What more could you ask for?!?

This was my first visit and the restaurant itself is beautiful...very upscale. It is a good restaurant if you want to make a good impression. As others have mentioned, they bring around an enormous basket of assorted breads for you to chose from and they are very good. When you are seated, you are given a dish of olive oil... More

This is by far the best Italian, as well as one of the best over-all restaurants in Houston. Customer service is only surpassed by the fine food. I eat here quite a lot, and have never had a bad, or even mediocre dish. Try it, and you will be extremely happy.

Sorrento's is located on the east end of Westheimer close to midtown. The restaurant atmosphere is comfortable and "homey" as the restaurant is presented in an old Montrose home. It has a intimate atmosphere, yet allows for large groups and private dining. The background music offered by the pianist is a bit too loud for my taste. It had a... More

We were going to a concert and decided to call the restaurant to see if they'd make some take out for us. Yes they would. We asked for an antipasta platter and did we get one. It had prosciutto, hard salami, three types of cheese, pepperoni, honeydew, raspberries, olives, butternut squash and two whole heads of roasted garlic with olive... More

Sorrento's is by far our favorite Italian Restaurant in Houston. It has a small intimate atmosphere, yet flexible enough to provide private areas for a variety of functions. The food is fantastic, they have a great burata salad, their homemade lasagna is my go to dish there, but there is nothing there that disappoints. We are there at least every... More

We celebrated a friend's 25th birthday here so i reserved a table for 6 of us. They were nice enough to provide us a nice table in a private room. I told them that we needed a cake, so at the end of our dinner they gave my friend her cute bday cake while the pianist played the bday song... More

The four of us had a great dinner at Sorrento. The fantastic bread basket and delicious roasted garlic starter were a wonderful beginning to our meal. The appetizers were great all around, except that the beef for the carpaccio was sliced too thick. The risotto prepared in the cheese wheel iwass an elegant touch. Mains were excellent: filet mignon (unfortunately... More
