The grilled oysters are to die for! amazing combinations of flavor. Raw oysters are not that great but that's not your fault. Baudouin balls are a must appetizer! Great place, great service!

If you want a great locals' spot, look no further than Blue Water Seafood. They feature daily specials and when Crawfish is in season, it's the best in the city! My wife and I make it here weekly, if not for a dinner Monday through Friday, then usually for a lunch on the weekend. On the appetizer menu there is... More

Went to Blue Water Seafood for dinner during a recent trip to Houston - not disappointed at all. Restaurant is very casual, servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is great. The stuffed ship appetizer was excellent and the blackened fish I had was just right. Highly recommend the restaurant, and I will be heading back there the next... More

So a friend and I arrived in Houston at dinner time and wanted seafood. We did not want to go the one of the many, even if great, chains. So the hotel recommended Blue Water - a little mom and pop type place about 5 miles away. No alcohol is served there. I ordered the Blackened Tilapia with shrimp rice... More

This place is around the corner from my home and we decided to visit a couple of Saturday ago. It took forever to be seated and there was awful management!! I order catfish and it did not taste like cat, there was a difference in the texture and taste to me. The gumbo was not homemade, taste as if it... More

I called 6 places all claiming they had crawfish but alas... none were to be found. So, having been to Blue Water before, I called them. We drove an hour to get there and the Crawfish was so good!!!!

Went here last night with friends. At first we had 2 waiters - then we saw one leave and our service went to crap. We understood after trying to get him to wait on us for dinner after 30 min he had 6 other tables inside - why send the other waiter home then? We asked 4 different people to... More

Went here last Saturday night hoping to have a might away from cooking. Our crawfish were half dead and small. The potatoes were mushy and the corn on the cob looked like someone had stepped on it. The floor was filthy and there was actually a dog at a table. This is against health codes in any restaurant even outside... More

This restaurant was recommended by a very nice lady at the local WALGREEN'S. Not a fancy place, but very good seafood for the price. Wait staff was cordial and knowledgeable. Had the fried catfish and shrimp combo and got the shrimp rice instead of the fries. Sweet!

We LOVE this place! We especially love sitting out in the outdoor/patio area. The Mudbugs (Crawdads) are SPICY and the pistolettes are CHEESY! The buckets of beer, wonderful. I have also ordered Grilled Shrimp and Po' Boys. Everything is great. The only problem you might encounter is Wait-Time! Try it!
