Awesome Seafood

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday, and man was the wait worth it. Their seafood is always fresh, and their Crawfish is full of flavor and not over cooked. I have tried their blackened salmon and Po-Boys, and they are also really good. Their stuffed Jalapeños are really good. But for me... read more

Heard from a family member about how good this place was so I stopped by one day for an oyster po-boy. It was a very good sandwich and I loved the oysters and enjoyed the crinkle cut fries. The beer was cold and sitting outside on a nice day was grand. I thought the value was a little lacking at... More

Food was excellent, prices were reasonable. I had a broiled platter and it was excellent. The service was very good even though the place was packed! I highly recommend this place. It is a little far from downtown Houston but worth the trip.

Very weak. Food was cold, the clam chowder was cool and straight from the can, the grilled shrimp was rubbery, the grilled vegetables were burnt. Not much positive to say about this place. Red Lobster is better. Nosiy and dirty as well. I am surprised this place stays in business in Houston with all of the choices out there.

Garlic shrimp cauterized my gut for a week. Good snow crabs, good mudbugs, good waiter. Good, but not excellent. Fried stuffed mushrooms were flavorless. Long wait for a table.

One of the better hole-in-the-wall seafood places in Houston, hands-down. It's not fancy-shmancy but what it lacks in decor more than makes up for it in their food. Love the Pistolettes here. Very good The Captain's Catch is a great platter to order if you are looking for a variety of boiled seafood. This particular platter comes with a King... More

I regularly visit the Blue Water whilst on trips to Houston, it has a laid back atmosphere and the service is always great and friendly. But best of all is the quality of the seafood, it's always been fresh and very well cooked. I'm a fan of the fried catfish especially, the batter is just so light and crunchy. The... More

The grilled oysters are to die for! amazing combinations of flavor. Raw oysters are not that great but that's not your fault. Baudouin balls are a must appetizer! Great place, great service!

If you want a great locals' spot, look no further than Blue Water Seafood. They feature daily specials and when Crawfish is in season, it's the best in the city! My wife and I make it here weekly, if not for a dinner Monday through Friday, then usually for a lunch on the weekend. On the appetizer menu there is... More

Went to Blue Water Seafood for dinner during a recent trip to Houston - not disappointed at all. Restaurant is very casual, servers are friendly and attentive, and the food is great. The stuffed ship appetizer was excellent and the blackened fish I had was just right. Highly recommend the restaurant, and I will be heading back there the next... More
