I dined on oysters and hurricanes. The oysters were very good ($10/dozen) but the hurricanes were average at best. The Happy Hour discount was nothing special as well. I would not go back for it.

The teenage kids like it because they are not paying the grossly overpriced bill. RC has successfully priced itself out of the market. After all, it is not Joyce's or Pappadeaux. At Christmas they usually have a gift card special to partially offset the pending 25% price increases. The food is marginal at best, and no better than awful BB's... More

The atmosphere is loud, crazy fun and the crawfish is fabulous. We took our cousins from San Diego for their first crawfish cajun style and they loved it! Our waitress was kind enough to bring the bibs to the table because you are going to get some on you :)

Love the cajun food served here, especially the gumbo and crawfish. Would always stop by whenever I am in town or nearby.

Our favorites are the fried oysters and the gumbo. Both were served hot and delicious as always. We also had the crabcakes which are rich with the good stuff. Service at the counter is friendly, quick and easy. Order was ready in a few minutes.

Oysters a little mushy but good flavor. A pit pricy at 10 bucks for seven on a sandwich. Fries were fresh and hot. New Orleans is better.

...this is where I come. Too many well known restaurants fry oysters until they have the texture of RUBBER but not Ragin' Cajun! They do it right! It's a close to Lafayette & Acadiana as you can ever hope to have in Houston!

Relaxed place but still works for a business lunch (if you can talk loudly). The food was really good and we were definitely full when we left.

We were hoping for some really good Cajun and seafood. The atmosphere was Texas barroom and the food was ordered at the counter. Okay. People at our table got fried shrimp, chicken and shrimp gumbo, a po' boy, and our grandson got a corn dog. It was prepared pretty quickly. The po'boy was just average, the fried shrimp was good,... This is _not_ a suit and tie place. They serve traditional Louisiana dinners, and fresh crawfish in season. The portions a huge. The two of us could not finish the half bucket ( and we are not picky eaters ). The staff is fun and very cordial, great atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Ah, good beer too.
