Friendly, Neighborhood Atmosphere - Good Food

Went to the Breakfast Klub this morning and was not disappointed. The atmosphere and service was very friendly. During the meal the General Manager Terry introduced himself and upon finding out I did not order their special on my first visit brought out a chicken wing - I thought this was a class... read more

Went the first time this morning! Arrived at 9:00 am and we only waited in line for about 15 minutes! We had the breakfast special with eggs over medium, bacon, grits and a biscuit! Everything was delish!!! Service was great! Food came out by the time we got our coffee! The chicken looked amazing! We decided we would have to... More

If I could give this restaurant 3.5 stars I would. They didn't quite make the very good rating in my experience. If you want a home cooked meal, this may be the best thing in Houston for that. I like to go to restaurants that have a more bold men; things that I can't make at home and even better.... More

Parking is at a premium as there are only 8-10 spots in front. There is parking around the corner or a short block away. We were impressed by the reviews and decided to try it. Arrived around 9:30 to find a short line and few empty tables. Ordered the waffle, ham and eggs and the breakfast special with sausage (Country... More

Don't be intimidated by the line outside. The reason for the line is the great food. There were about 20 people in front of us when we arrived. Within 2 minutes someone brought a menu to us and a few minutes later she took our order so we could hand it to the cashier and pay very quickly when we... More

This is absolutely the best place for breakfast. Of course you could have the grits and katfish for lunch but it works for brunch also. I have also had their other breakfast items - french toast, waffles, eggs. They do it best. Its fresh and quick to make it to your table. There is HOT syrup on tap to take... More

My word to describe The Breakfast Klub i, FABULOUS !!! My family and I have been patrons of Marcus's restaurant for a number of years. From the time he and his wife opened their doors it has consistently delicious, comforting food. This place has become a staple in the Houston "foodie" arena. Top notch, down home cooking !!! Keep doing... More

I hate over-hyped brunch spots, crowds in general and waiting in line to get a table. But the entire experience at the breakfast klub was marvelous last weekend, especially since we serendipitously walked by the restaurant Sunday morning to see no two hour line out the door. Friendly staff and mouth watering fried chicken. Forgettaboutit.

Visited for my birthday! I wanted to go somewhere with good old fashion southern food. My son suggested The breakfast Klub. The lines were long but moved pretty quickly. I had the Wing and Waffles! Yes it was sooo good.. I am glad I went there instead of some fancy resturant. I could put my elbows on the tables and... More
