Went here for Sunday breakfast. Plan inn waiting in a line of you get here mid morning. The line moved fairly quickly though. They hand you a menu while your in line ago you're ready to order when you get to the counter. After ordering we were shown to our table and told all the drinks, condiments and silverware we... I don't get it. After reading the reviews, my wife and I decided to go for breakfast but were not thrilled. Started off standing in a hustle and bustle line with somebody herding us along and barking orders rudely. Get your order in and struggle to find a wobbly table surrounded by rude ghetto people. I'm wondering if I'm in... More

My son, his friend and I had breakfast at this place and it was a so yummie!! My son had the chicken and waffles and I had the fried Cod. Being from California, it was a great Texas experience! The service was excellent and friendly servers. Great Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's too. We are looking forward to coming here again... More

If you're a northerner like me and my friends, be on the lookout for outside seating. Most locals don't want to sit outside when it's cool in the morning, we had no issue with this and were able to short cut a huge line. The food was great, all southern homestyle food. Served quick by a fun and friendly staff.... More

We had been hearing about TBK for months before our visit, so we had to stop. We braved the long line (which moved pretty quickly!) to get the popular "wings n waffles" and French toast plate. The food is expensive ($40 for the two of us) but the portions were large. The owner came around to greet customers, which we... More

You stand in line to order(sometimes a LONG line) and self serve yourself to drinks and silverware and condiment and thinking looking at the prices I'm not so sure this is going to be worth all this. take my words for it ...YES it is worth it. I had catfish and grits that rival my own!!!! Actually the... More

We were told about this resturant when me and my fiance visited Houston last month. One of our friends told us that it is a place to get good chicken and waffles. You may get a little discouraged if the line is really long, but after a few minutes the line moved quickly and next thing we knew we were... More
