Check out more of my review on my blog http://www.victoriasxcape.com/texas-eating/ Greeted by smiles and a southern accent “Good morning, Welcome to the Breakfast Klub”. The host handed out menus and scanned them as we stood in the cashier line. This wasn’t setup like your typical breakfast spot. This was a self serve joint, pay the cashier and find a seat.... More

Outstanding food, and LONG lines to get in! The prices are a lot higher than what I would expect, but each order had enough food for 2-3 people... The decoration inside is colorful and lively, but we were ok with sitting in the patio, and that moved us up the line by, maybe 20-25 minutes.

I have been to this restaurant twice this year and was never disappointed The food was great and the service was excellent from the staff being funny and friendly. I like the way the owner comes out and greets the customers and talks to them . The line can be a bit long but moves very quickly. The Fish and... More

To start, I live in Houston and this was my first time here. I have been told by everyone that has ever eaten here that it is a staple in Houston. This place is known for its southern style breakfast, especially the grits (if you are NOT from the south, you MUST eat these!) and the fried catfish. I tried... More

Went to the Breakfast Klub this morning and was not disappointed. The atmosphere and service was very friendly. During the meal the General Manager Terry introduced himself and upon finding out I did not order their special on my first visit brought out a chicken wing - I thought this was a class act and I could tell that everyone... Went the first time this morning! Arrived at 9:00 am and we only waited in line for about 15 minutes! We had the breakfast special with eggs over medium, bacon, grits and a biscuit! Everything was delish!!! Service was great! Food came out by the time we got our coffee! The chicken looked amazing! We decided we would have to... More

If I could give this restaurant 3.5 stars I would. They didn't quite make the very good rating in my experience. If you want a home cooked meal, this may be the best thing in Houston for that. I like to go to restaurants that have a more bold men; things that I can't make at home and even better.... More

Parking is at a premium as there are only 8-10 spots in front. There is parking around the corner or a short block away. We were impressed by the reviews and decided to try it. Arrived around 9:30 to find a short line and few empty tables. Ordered the waffle, ham and eggs and the breakfast special with sausage (Country... More

Don't be intimidated by the line outside. The reason for the line is the great food. There were about 20 people in front of us when we arrived. Within 2 minutes someone brought a menu to us and a few minutes later she took our order so we could hand it to the cashier and pay very quickly when we... More

This is absolutely the best place for breakfast. Of course you could have the grits and katfish for lunch but it works for brunch also. I have also had their other breakfast items - french toast, waffles, eggs. They do it best. Its fresh and quick to make it to your table. There is HOT syrup on tap to take... More
