Good Sushi and Good Variety

I can't say I'm an expert in Houston's sushi scene, but The Fish did the trick for us. Five of us, including one child and one non-sushi-eater had a great meal and everyone was satisfied. I can't pick out any rolls in particular that were above and beyond, but they were all good. And our... read more

The menu has a good variety and the sushi is super fresh! Service was good- staff is very friendly. Parking is terrible- its worth the valet price.

Living in Midtown I didn't think this would be a good sushi place right in the heart of several apartment complexes, but I was wrong! Came here for happy hour which is a great deal. Good selection of food

Went there for lunch with 4 others. Although it was not crowded right at noon, it was packed by 12:30. Nigiri was fresh and good. Prices were reasonable. Almost mandatory that you valet for $8. Parking is nearly impossible.

Tast and fresh Sushi. Presented very appealing. Ideally licated in Houston, short walking distance to bars after dinner.

Its close to me so I have gone in a few time for some sushi at lunch. I have found the service pretty hit or miss and the food good but not outstanding. However there is a "Fire Edamame" on the menu that is awesome

Fish is in the constantly changing midtown. Stopped in yesterday, party of 5, for lunch. Several of us ordered bento boxes, several of us ordered expensive items. Everything was exquisite. The interior had been recently redone and service was attentive. The restaurant was busy, for not beyond what the staff could easily handle. I can easily recommend Fish, and will... More

Look like they are history, suddenly overnight a sign "closed for maintenance" and windows blacked out, either broke, lost lease or lost liquor license I imagine, you don't just close you let your customers know weeks in advance if you are doing remodeling and what type of maintenance takes a week???

I really enjoy eating at The Fish, despite its location. The parking is a hassle, and the traffic there for an early dinner can be ugly, but it's midtown, and you know what you are getting in to when you go there. The restaurant is attractive, and even when busy does not seem to be particularly loud. We've always found... More

I went there with my gf for a nice diner. The place was packed so as the noise level. If there are big groups you have to raise your voice as the tables are quite close together. I didn't like that. Besides that the sushi was AWSOME and the pricing was very fair. I will come back but maybe during... More
