We love this neighborhood gem. It's quiet. The ambience is great. It has parking (their own valet and lot). The food is good. The decor is sophisticated but comfortable—casual elegance. We visited again this past Friday. They have a full bar and we started with martinis. The bartender did a... read more

My wife and I dined here for the first time last night. It's been here a long time, but we had never dined there. We both had the snapper Evangeline. It was OK, but the sauce just overwhelmed the fish. I had the split pea soup, and I would also rate it as good - but not outstanding. My wife... More

Everything was great, food, service, price etc. Only thing that could have been better was to not sit so close to the bar. A little to noisy as we were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary.

Had lunch here July 2015. It is a small restaurant with great service and intimate seating. It is a white tablecloth venue - not your average sandwich shop. One reason we chose this restaurant is the low noise level since we were lunching with older folks who can't hear very well. I had the Chicken Lexington Salad - absolutely delicious.... More

We’re members of a book club that meets quarterly. When it was our turn to choose a book and venue, we chose a novel I had written (Papyrus: A Thriller) and the Lexington Grille. On that evening, the entire club (about fourteen people) agreed to keep meeting at the Lexington. That was about two years ago, and it has not... More

Was in town on business and friends recommended the Lexington. Was not disappointed. Service is 5 star exceptional. Went with servers suggestions and was pleased that I did. An incredible meal and definitely leave room for desert. Oh my. Definitely a favorite and will return on future visits to Houston.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary based on recommendatio from my friend. This is a very nice quaint restaurant. Food was delicious. Absolutely LOVEDDDD the scallops. I had the pork chops and my husband had the steak. I wished I would have tried the bread pudding but I will be back. Only drawback was since I did... More

I have now had dinner at this restaurant twice and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff is outstanding and we really enjoyed visiting with the owner. The noise level is low. It was great to be able to visit and hear each other. I will definitely be going again. The only thing I thought this restaurant could improve on... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here in the quaint little spot. As seen in my title, I would've given it a four-star rating until we got the bill for lunch. We both had water, a cup of soup and an entrée and finished it off with a cappuccino ($5 for a cappuccino is crazy!) We knew by driving by and looking... More

We were a party of 10 with reservations, we were placed in a private dining room off the main large dining room. There was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with excellent service. Our waiter had a terrific sense of humor and made excellent suggestions. The room was cozy and we were able to visit without excessive noise. The menu is varied... More
