Superb service combined with fresh well prepared food and perfectly matched wines made for a fantastic dining experience. I don't usually go for those chef's choice sampler type meals you see offered at so many places these days, but my sister encouraged me to try it here and all I can is WOW! I'm not really much of a wine... More

We recently had the pleasure of dining for the first time at America's on West Gray, and I can safely say the decor of this restaurant was the most unusual I have ever seen. I felt like I was sitting in the middle of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party: the wall behind me looked like it was covered with giant... More

America's continues to have provide a full range of menu items and a wonderful happy hour to boot. Try the Sauvignon Blanc blend by the Cordua's themselves. A well done wine that is crisp and smooth. The Houston Restaurant Week menus were unique, so much so I had to go there twice and try another item. One of the most... More

River Oaks location: decor is extraordinarily beautiful. Now I see why people say nice place to take out of town guests. It's a little too intimate for that though, unless your out of town guest is a love interest. Food is fab, wait staff is ultra professional...this is what really separates fine dinning to me. Shout out to waiter Zachary,... More

Is it the well-prepared food? Is it stellar service? Is it the atmosphere? Cleanliness? I think it is a concise menu with outstanding dishes each telling a story. A meat dish where the meat (churrasco) is prepared in a way that the home chef could never copy, surrounded with flavorful sides complementing the main course. Off the menu choices like... More

I ate at America's for my birthday lunch and I was impressed. When I walked into the restaurant I was mesmerized. The atmosphere and decor are tres chic. Since I went for lunch I ordered from their lunch menu. You get an appetizer, main course, and dessert for $20. I had the avocado soup for my appetizer and it one... More

Most large buffets, even at top-flight eateries, accept a trade off between the quantity of food served and the quality thereof. One might imagine that the effect would be magnified at a brunch, often derided as a way to get rid of the last night's dribblings. Not so at Americas. The brunch buffet maintained a wide selection of quality food.... More

The avant-garde style architecture of this restaurant may not please everyone, but its churrasco steak will win your heart. It has a flavor that is unlike that of any other steak in the city, and I heartily recommend you order it rarer than you ordinarily order your steaks to get the full flavor. The appetizers are wonderful and varied--something for... More

We came here with our friends on the last night of our stay in Houston, they very kindly treated us to an amazing meal. I got the mixed grill which was awesome but the service was the greatest of all, outstanding and we were so looked after. Thank you for making our last night in Houston very special

An excellent dining experience. On a Sunday afternoon we were surprised they were serving brunch until 3 pm - a great selection. My wife has extreme shellfish allergy and the manager (Jesus) and his kitchen team accommodated her needs w/ great professionalism. We finished off our meal w/ a flaming Tres Leches cake that was every bit as good as... More
