Excellent restaurant!

We went there with work, and I was not disappointed! This is a very good French restaurant. The chef is actually French, and being French myself, I was happy with the quality of the food, it was excellent! I recommend it!

We and our friends arrived and were seated in one of the high booths on the east wall. It was so comfortable. THe server was just awesome and the water glasses were never left empty. THe owner stopped by to welcome us and on us later in the evening. The wine list is more than adequate and we enjoyed a... More

We have eaten at Le Mistral several times in the past and tonight's Christmas Eve dinner did not disappoint. The prix fixe was a five course meal of pure joy. I don't consider myself a huge fish fan, but I am in love with the their cod fish. I also enjoyed the scrumptious filet mignon and lobster and ending the... More

I went with family and had a lovely time. The escargot was wonderful, and the owner of the restaurant spent time chatting with us. This is a very upscale French restaurant - my brother's steak was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, a cockroach climbed up the wall and scared my mother, but when the owner found out... Excellent lunch. Had the bouillabaisse with Mahi Mahi and the foie gras. Great service (a little rushed ) and awsome tastes close to the French way of cooking.

This is a fantastic place. We are French, and enjoy good food and wine. The food was amazing, the server knowledgeable. We even met the chef and toured the kitchen, and then met one of the owners. Chef and owner were extremely nice. We talked for a while. We wish we could go more often, but that is quite a... More

My husband and I have just got home from a wonderful evening at Le Mistral. We were the first people in the restaurant after having a kir royale and a cocktail at the bar. I had the red snapper for entree and my husband had the veal and they were both gorgeous and everything was put together well. We shared... More

Le Mistral is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful, friendly staff and great food. There are 2 and 3 course lunch meals and a wide array of dishes on the lunch and dinner menus as well as special seasonal meals - the current one is based around truffles. You might imagine Houston's best restaurant is inside the loop but NON, NO,... More

We live on the other side of Houston, near the Johnson Space Center. So we drove ~60 miles to a very special France vs. Spain dinner. Wow, it was fantastic. BTW, the Rouge Bar next door is a fantastic value for money in a less formal setting, especially at happy hour. If I lived nearby this would be a regular... More
