Generous portions, good service, but the food was bland. We kept thinking about what seasonings were needed.

April 25, 2013: Glad to find out that they are open late to midnight as we arrived at 9:30 p.m. We've been to various locations but find that this location seems to have better food and customer service. We tried the jalapeno taco dinner and the fish taco dinner - each came with 3 tacos, Mexican rice and charro beans.... More

I love love love Taqueria Arandas. The service is always great and the food is just like home cooking. I am sad that since I have moved there isn't one anywhere near me. Order the Menudo on the weekend.

The food was good to very good, We had to wait for 10 minutes to get noticed in an empty restaurant then they did a good jod. This place is a nice mix of Tex-Mex and authentic Mex. The green salsa is killer hot.

Taqueria Arandas is the first restaurant we dine at when we go to Houston. The food and service is awesome. We have never been disappointed at this place - whether we had breakfast, lunch or dinner.

First visit, what a disappointment. The food was decent, service was below average and the restaurant was terrible.

They have great breakfast tacos here! Try the eggs with cactus (huevos con nopales) and you can't go wrong. They were only $1 in the mornings, also. Yummy!
