Most diverse menu for a Tex-Mex Restaurant ever

This is a very interesting place. It feels a little upscale but comfortable. The decor is strange for a Mexican restaurant but nice. There is a small private room and also some outdoor dining. I couldn't get over the menu - it was overwhelming and so many choices. It offers selections from the 7... read more

From the moment you walk in the decor and ambiance is wonderful!! We made reservation on a Saturday evening, so we were seated right away. Chips and salsa was brought to our table and they were very good. We ordered the perfect margarita and it was very good!!! Two of those were enough for me! We ordered queso flameado and... More

Met here for drinks before a show. Ordered a grand gold Rita on the rocks and got a horrible drink for over $12 bucks. Maybe for dinner but drinks are terrible.

This revamped Ninfa's has been transformed into Pico's - a true Mexican restaurant. You can find Tex Mex here, but they focus on authentic Mexican cuisine.

We experienced wonderful service and food. Reservations made for a group of 7 the day before, staff called the day of the reservation to confirm. From the time we drove up to the front door we were treated with courtesy and respect. Staff went out of their way to honor our tight evening schedule. Food was delicious. I highly recommend... Pico's, let me sing a love song to you! You are constant through the decades, always giving the best to everyone. My mouth waters when I think of your enchiladas acociles (crawfish enchiladas). Your green sauce with chips is the gift of Arnoldo (the owner and manager) to all of us. Chilis en Nogadas are still savory adventures into the... More

This is definitely the new "Hugo's" of Houston. Not that Hugo's has gotten old or anything... I still LOVE their Sunday Brunch. Picos is right up there. Authentic Mexican cuisine, NOT TEX MEX. Not too noisy, great for groups, and always satisfied with the menu. I've eaten here three times and ordered something different each time. Never been disappointed.

We ordered a dozen tamales; 6 pork and 6 chicken. They are big and extra tender and tasty. They come in a plastic pack and they can warm them up for you or give them to you cold. These are not the tiny little tamales. Add a little salsa and you have a dinner or lunch ready to go.

Been to the original Pico's on Belleire for years. Visited the new Pico's several times. Food is still good even better though you have to pay a higher price. Likely to compensate for the more upscale Kirby location and beautiful decor inside. If you want just Tex-Mex food, there are other places. But to taste Mexican food from different regions,... More

Arnaldo Richard's Pico's is an awesome place to enjoy truly fresh Mexican food in a beautiful atmosphere. The margaritas are from scratch (no mixes) and you will want to taste test then all. We had the guacamole appetizer-yummy and ended with Tres Leches Chocolate Cake (also made from scratch there). Mancha Manyeles was our main course and it tasted as... More
