Not what it was

The place is nice, romantic, and fancy. The food is not much better than a TV dinner. The staff was not that friendly either. I don't think I will be going back.

The interior is amazing. They have a wall full of wine. WINE! Sure there's tequila, but that wall knocked my socks out. The food was pretty tasty and the margaritas were to die for. The staff was friendly and helpful with their suggestions and will alter the dish to your liking. I'm defiantly coming back!

Still amazing Margs. Always an attraction. Food however has lost some of its flair. Used to be amazing, now just good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, but increased prices at the new venue, and only good food, will not attract us there a often as great food would. Will return, but likely less frequently. A shame but this... More

We liked this place so much when visiting Houston recently, that we went there for dinner one night and returned again the next afternoon for lunch! The drinks were very refreshing and homemade. My husband and I enjoyed soup and quesadilla with delicious margaritas for dinner. We liked the atmosphere as well. We came back the next day for lunch... More

My experience at Pico's was extraordinary. The atmosphere, food and staff were all exceptional. So exceptional in fact that while visiting Texas over the holidays I ate at Picos 3 times and each time was impressed. My favorite dish and one definitely not to be miss was the Lubina Chilena from the north pacific coast region. Broiled Chilean sea bass... More

First of all, Houston is known for their excellent Mexican and Tex-Mex food. We have some of the best food in the nation. Some of the restaurants that I feel are excellent and are a good value are Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, Pappasitos, El Tiempo, Hugo's, Maria Selma, La Mexicana, Chuy's and too many more to mention. I won't go into... More

Prices a little high for portion and food variety. Went here for lunch and paid $12 for soup. The rest of our party ordered the botana and the portions were small for the price. Taste was overall ok but not very authentic mexican flavors.

Pico's was an excellent experience all around. The food was as described, the service was attentive, and there were subtle touches (like table side purse racks) that out it over the top!

Our second visit to Pico's. The first we sat at the bar and had appetizers. Good but pricey. We went to dinner and the food was good but not exceptional. I had Chile Rellenos with to much sauce. The sauce was sweet and tasted like it should be on spaghetti. The service was terrible. The waiter kept disappearing. We each... More
