Great soft shelled crabs

The food was great. Soft shelled crabs were wonderful. You need to call ahead and order them or you might not get them. It was way too loud. You could only have a conversation with the person next to you.

I have been to Pico's several times and have always had an amazing experience. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly, attentive and know how to make great drinks. They have over a dozen different kinds of margaritas. I have had several different margaritas and they were all great. They have their own brand of Herradura tequila which is exclusive... More

This was my first time at Arnoldo Richard's Pico's Seven Regions of Mexican Cusine and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Went there for a late lunch/early dinner. The restaurant was very nice on the inside and the staff was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Enchiladas de Tejas (chicken) and my mother ordered the... More

We had dinner with friends last night in the new PIco's location. The experience for us was a letdown. Our friends really enjoyed their salad and red snapper Veracruzano, but for us the entire meal was mediocre. The frozen margaritas tasted watery and bland - like they'd been mixed earlier and the ice had begun to melt. The ceviche was... More

Average Mexican food at best. No real taste. Lunch was high prices considering the lack of taste. But what really got me was what I saw from my table. All the wait staff was handling the silverware with their bare hands and not by the handle but the part you eat your food with, then handling the menus and then... More

I had heard how good this place was and decided to try it. The facility is very nice, service was good, food was only average and the noise was overwhelming. It was very hard to talk to anyone at your table it was so loud. I will not be going back as too many over excellent places in Houston

Blackened fillet mignon with blackened oysters. The best meal I've ever consumed washed it down with a top shelf shaker margarita and a glass of red wine. It doesn't get any better than this, Saloutos Arnaldo!

The minute my husband and I walked in, we felt welcomed! Excellent service by the entire staff. The food was amazing! My husband and I had the sizzler for two which tasted amazing!! We will definitely be going back!

My previous review was actually meant for the original Pico's in Bellaire, now closed. Supposedly it reopened on Kirby, and my husband and I went there for Valentine's Day, but a lot more than the location has changed. These aren't the same chefs. We never had a bad meal at the Bellaire restaurant, but the dishes we had tonight ranged... More

The place is nice, romantic, and fancy. The food is not much better than a TV dinner. The staff was not that friendly either. I don't think I will be going back.
