We came to Pico's during Houston's Restaurant Week...it was a great way to try a variety of the food (for a little less of the cost). The food is very true to Mexican cooking...not Tex-Mex...it was delish. I really appreciated that the menu noted their gluten-free items. The service we had was tremendous as well. Our waiter was so kind... More

This is another Bellaire favorite and for good reason. Everything's delicious. If you happen to go on a day when they have ribs, don't ask questions, just order them! Take home what you can't eat. I always order the margarita called The Perfect, because it is, served straight up. The chips and salsa dips are so good we never leave... More

Stopped by for a Sunday breakfast. The new restaurant is upscale and very nice upscale remodel of the old Nifa's. Service was attentive and the food was very good. Their salsa's are outstanding. I had huevo's rancheros with black beans. Very good food. I order corn tortillas and they served flour--The prices are expensive for what you get, but I... More

For dinner to celebrate birthday, hard to hear anyone, noise level very high; had worse time leaving- only 2 guys working the valet and line was ridiculous; should have served some margaritas or at least have some chairs for my elderly father

This was my first visit to Pico's Mex-Mex. A friend highly recommended it and I was not disappointed. Service was attentive, but relaxing, and we were not rushed. After eating we sat and talked quite awhile, which was OK with the staff. I ordered Enchiladas de Mariscos, with shrimp and crab and it was delicious. Everyone was happy with their... More

Their drinks are strong and great. Several varieties of margaritas. I've been eating at their original location on Bellaire for many years. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything that I've eaten is wonderful. Even their soups are delicious. Not just the usual boring tex-mex that most mexican restaurants have -- they have some wonderful seafood dishes. Their new restaurant on... More

I heard a lot of things about this restaurant but honestly, I wasn't impressed. The food didn't taste all that great and the shrimp I had still had the shells on them. This place isn't bad, they're good for a change of scenery but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here... Jus sayin

This was my husband & my first visit to Pico's since they moved to a new location. It is much larger and not as authentic as the old location but very nice and much more up scale as far as the décor. Both place are quite loud and it would not be a place to go if you wanted to... More

My husband and I decided to try Pico's for Houston Restaurant Week - - nice switch from regular Tex Mex. Started off with the Ensalada Verde - crisp with problano dressing - I had the delicious calamari sauteed in olive oil with pasilla peppers and garlic - beware those peppers are hot, but very flavorful! My husband had the red... More

Loved the old picos it was like going to Mexico, new and improved is now a noisy mess. It is full to the brim and you must go early to get a table, but then you have the margarita crowd screaming over the noise of too many people. The chips were horribly rancid (they were replaced quickly and graciously) however... More
