My wife and I came across this place while looking for a nice, simple dinner that was a good healthy and cost effective choice. this place met all of those criteria and more. While a minor letdown that we had to order from the counter, the food, service, and decor were all excellent. This minor letdown was overcome quickly. My... More

For some reason the Galleria Mall in Houston doesn't have a TripAdvisor available so I'm picking one near the area. I have been here a few times but went twice this past trip to Texas and both times I had the French Dip and a side Caesar Salad. Both were perfect and left me full. I'll continue to get this... More

La madeleine has lots of restaurants around Houston and its high quality bakery is sold for a good price. You can have a good and simple dinner there for 2 persons for around 30 dollars or less. Who would think you can find a good bakery in Houston for a reasonable price? They have excellent croissants, the quiche lorraine is... More

I was recently in The Woodlands for business and stumbled upon this place for breakfast the first day. I enjoyed it so much, I went back the second day. The Good: They open at 6:30a and I arrived both days around 8a and it was not crowded at all! The ordering process was easy and the kitchen was pretty fast... More

I enjoyed breakfast while sitting inside. I don't particularly like sitting outside at the one on Kirby because the pigeons are disgusting. While eating, they fly over you, wait for your crumbs, and literally annoy the mess out of you. Nevertheless, the food was great was usual. I ordered oatmeal, and a bacon/egg croissant. The egg was light and fluffy,... More

Excellent food, particularly the spinach quiche. Top that off with strawberries romanoff and life is good.

I was skeptical at first - a "cafeteria" style French Cafe? I expected so-so quality and ambiance. I was pleasantly surprised. I found the ambiance to be very relaxed and continental. The food was of nice variety and well presented. The taste was fantastic. Better than average value for the money spent.

Known for its great bread, salads/soup/sandwich combos. Lovely quiches. Love the fireplace at the FM1960/hwy 290 location in Houston. Just watch those creamy soups, delicious but heavy.
