OMG I'm so full but it was so good!!

Travelling for work and checked this place out near the Magnolia Hotel (which btw is also excellent). It was pretty much a perfect restaurant experience. I'd call it upscale casual - it's casual enough to go in jeans but I'd be equally impressed if it were a first date or an anniversary kind of... read more

I stopped into Irma's for lunch before a game at the nearby Minute Maid Park. After the typical downtown parking hassles, Irma's was a very pleasent find. I got there just as they were opening, but was warmly greeted. I grabbed a seat at the bar for a cold Dos Equis. I ordered the tamales, which were obviously made onsite,... More

The first time I stopped in this restaurant, I had an excellent breakfast just by telling the waitress what I liked to eat. I took my mother back to this restaurant when we passed it on the way from our hotel to the convention center. We had a wonderful lunch with guacamole, fajitas, and fresh lemonade. Ingredients in the guacamole... More

On my way to an Astro's game, saw this on the corner and man this place was great! I ordered fajitas with rice and beans with flour totillas. All the vegetables were fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. Fajitas and Dos Equis beer was $23 and food was out quick once ordered. I have found my go-to place before an... More

This was my first trip. The atmosphere was great and the appetizers were awesome. The salsa and chips were some of the best I've experienced. Definitely a do over.

I'll be honest. When we first walked in we we're greeted very happily. There was a guy wearing an Astros shirt and an apron. He appeared to be the owner as I watched him greet everyone in the restaurant. As we we're seated he came from another table to pull my chair out for me. The chips, salsa and drinks... More

They are now open for dinner; so exciting! Came here before a concert at Toyota Center. The food was excellent and freshly prepared. Service was awesome, especially server Nick. If you're going to an event nearby, I highly recommend this place for dinner.

We made reservations for Irma's because of a baseball game, glad we did! We were moved to the front of the line and seated right away. I read on Trip Advisor that the Guac was excellent, it did not disappoint. My husband had Irmas tamales and I had fish taco's, both were very good. The waitress was so busy but... More

Visiting Houston for business and wanted to try local flavor! The owner Louie greeted us and serves us and we let him pick all of our selections! We are from New Orleans and are accustomed to spice and flavor and we were so impressed! Best in Houston hands down!!!! Thanks Louie for a fantastic lunch! Sea bass and tamales were... More

This place was remarkable. We were in town for business and came across this place on the way home. It was after lunch, mid afternoon, the hostess sat us by the kitchen and a older lady said no you will sit here and moved us where all the plants and a beautiful view. No menu and our waiter made a... More
