I like the family-style dinners. The food was very good and we left stuffed as usual. They have semi-private rooms like you're at home in your own dining room with family.

My husband and I decided to try this place recently and right off the bat we were really impressed with the restaurant decor and ambiance. The food portions are exactly as they describe - HUGE so it's best to go with a group or you'll have leftovers. The food was really good but, not the best I've ever tasted. My...

I know it's a chain but I don't care. The food is always good and the atmosphere is fun. One has to order carefully because the items are sized for sharing but leftovers are pretty good too. I particularly like their pepperoni pizza and the lasagna. Watch out for the giant desserts!
This restaurant was able to accommodate our very large party with a reservation! The food was good, the portions are huge! Everyone had to go boxes, it might be better to serve smaller portions with lesser price. Expensive for pasta that was ok!
We took our elderly parents here for dinner tonight. We ordered the "4 for $40" meal. I had not been to Buca and loved the atmosphere. We were pleased with quantity of food (served family style) and found everything to be fresh, well presented and very tasty! We had the family size Caesar Salad, Cheese Ravioli and Garlic Bread. Everything...

Love to bring people here who have not experienced the place. My favorite spot is the Pope's table, but must have a larger group for that one. Many small rooms and each with its own theme. Downside is that at times the bartender has done a poor job--depends upon who is working.
Although it was lunch on a Saturday, we ordered off the dinner menu. The stuffed shells were not very tasty. The veal parmajean had a slightly off taste. Not bad, just not very good. The veal seemed to be a bit overdone. The meatballs were very good. Really not worth going back. Better food at Marcoroni Grill.
Tasty food with extremely large servings (as advertised.) The restaurant is VERY noisy and pricey. It took a while to order and drinks took a while for refills. I could not hear a couple at our table just two seats away. Singing birthday songs added to the extreme noise and was annoying.
Classic family style restaurant but i found the food lacking character, substance and authentic tastes of Italy. There are many better Italian restaurants and I don't understand why this place is always busy.
This restaurant is not for the meek and mild eaters. This is a serious large volume Italian experience. Just order the plate of mashed potatoes and you will understand what I am talking about. If you like Italian food and you have a group of big eaters, this is your place to go.
