Great Houstonian restaurant for a business lunch or breakfast. Dinner service also looked nice and the restaurant is very well appointed for a nice meal!
This restaurant is in the hotel I stay in whenever I go to Houston. Service is impeccable. The last time I was there I mentioned the entree I had on a previous trip that had a big onion ring on it and how good it was. Onion rings were not on the menu, but next thing you know, I had... More
We dined here late while we stayed in Houston. First of all the service was absolutely outstanding. The entrees we had....duck and bouilbase were both really wonderful. The cost was very low relative to similar restaurants. The atmosphere is a little date because of the design of the restaurant.
We had breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived at 9:00 on a weekday. Our group tried the buttermilk pancakes, oatmeal pancakes and banana stuffed French toast and all were very pleased with their choices. In fact, we may go back in the morning!
This is not a fine cuisine restaurant, but very proper for the hotel. There are 3 menus during the day (breakfast, lunch & dinner). All menus have sufficient choices and the food is really fresh and tasty, and also reasonably priced. Nice and speedy service. What else one could expect from a hotel ?
We ate dinner and breakfast at Olivette. The ambiance is old world and looks out over the trees surrounding the Houstonian property. We had a nice window table. The bread assortment and sea salted butter was delish. I had a salad, snapper, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was all good. The waiter was very nice with my son... More
We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and all were excellent. In the morning if you need to get off to a meeting, the service is fast and food delicious. Try the eggs Benedict. For lunch the same, good for business meeting, or a quick bite. For dinner, you can relax and enjoy a range of choices from salmon to... More
I have been here twice for lunch. The food is tasty and the prices are alittle high. Don't know about dinner. It's small and the atmosphere is ok. Reminds me of being in an old world Italian kitchen. The service was very good.
