I was at the Houstonian for a course so ate at the Olivetti several times. The food and service were impeccable. All niggles were due to cultural differences (me being from another country and all).

We had a great meal at this hotel. Must eat here if you stay at the Houstonian. Host was very friendly and helped us move to a bigger table 1/4 way through our meal as other people from our party decided to eat with us. They were all about us being comfortable even during a busy time for them.

The restaurant had a great atmoshere and view. The food and wine was very nice. The service was perfect and we loved that the hotel restaurant was as equal to the overall quality of the Houstonian.

I love the crab cakes. I also love that the Olivette is connected to the Houstonian Hotel and Spa. So, I come here and stay a night. I have a spa treatment, have a couple of drinks at the bar, enjoy a wonderful dinner at the Olivette Restaurant - and yes... I always get the crab cakes to start and... More

A lot of hotel restaurants are not that good. However. Olivettes is the exception. The tables are not too close together, there is a really nice ambiance. Good choice on the menu and the food is hot and tasty.

We were concerned about our attire as we were wearing nice jeans and sweaters but we felt right at home. We had the filet and rack of lamb for dinner. Both cooked medium rare perfectly. We passed on dessert but our waiter brought us tres leches on the house and it was outstanding. Husband had a Moscow mule. Total bill... More

I only had the chance to have dinner one night- The service and the quality of food was exceptional. I like the fact that they have an open kitchen. I would definetely visita again. Great apetizers and the fish was to die for!

Seven of us convened for lunch on a Tuesday. A couple had the southwest salad; a couple, the snapper over veggies; and one, the grilled salmon salad. One of us talked the chef into an egg-white omelet, even though it was noon. I had the flounder over a veggie compote. Portions were just right (instead of the gigantic servings many... More

Very good menu! Their breakfast selection is very good and not filled with just the basics. Many Non-Hotel-Guests dine here too! Staff is very attentive and professional.
