The stuffed cabbage with two sides for less than $11, what a bargain. Enough for two or three people so plan on taking some home. I have had a great Ruben sandwich and Matzaball soup. You would think you are in a real New York Deli. Open all night, across from a police station.

Located in the Montrose area this restaurant never closes. They have beef bacon - worth trying. Huge portions. Their matzo ball soup is good. You won't leave hungry. I think they still offer fried pickles - you either like them or hate them but it's fun to try them. Friendly and helpful staff. If you need guidance on what to... More

I was excited to find a Jewish restaurant with Kosher food in Houston. I arrived with excitement. I asked for some Challah bread and the waiter was having trouble understanding what I was asking for - not sure why? Then, I ordered chicken with "potato pancakes (latkes)" and fries. My partner orders a ruben with potato salad. We get our... More

Our family visited Katz's while we were in Houston. After an early morning flight and picking up a car, some wanted breakfast and some wanted lunch, so Katz'swas a natural place to go. Food was great as well as the service. Will make a stop there on our next visit.

Nice comfortable cafe, been there for years. Food is ver consistent and great choice after visiting the bars in the neighborhood. Friendly staff, lots of police presence their station is across the street. Handy late at night if your walking.

I am always wary about a famous place that sets up an outpost restaurant so I was prepared for possible disappointment. The restaurant has a large bar and plenty of seating with an upstairs as well. My group of eight sat together just off the bar. Considering that this was a NYC theme I was shocked that they served you... More

I was not impressed with Katz's. Walking in, I liked the decor and the atmosphere. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. Then we waited about 45 minutes for our food. I ordered the French Dip with fries. My fries were cold and there wasn't a lot of roast beef on my sandwich. We didn't get... More

Decided to go here since we needed something to eat at 1am and they're open 24/7. The atmosphere is nice, only downside was the noise level was a little too much. Service was good, given that the place was packed. Food was also good, just pricey for something that could've been made at home. Overall, it was nice. I'll try... More

They start your meal with free appetizers of kosher dill pickles and fresh coleslaw that i could have made a meal of. A vegetarian rueben that was delicious and deep fried pickles that cannot be topped. I actually like the smaller portions so that leaves room for their key lime pie that is fabulous. Wait staff was very attentive and... More

My daughter and son in law just moved to Houston. We met some friends there since we were visiting from Massachusetts. The food was extraordinary and there were GLUTEN FREE options as well! The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, since my son in law is a physician and was held up at the hospital, so he was late... More
