Milkshake Addiction at Katz

The first step is to admit you have a problem. The problem is whether to A). Order the Oreo Cookie Milkshake or B) Order the Oreo Cookie Cheesecake Milkshake. Option A is simple and delicious. Option B is everything A is -- but they just toss in a huge hunk of Oreo Cookie Cheesecake and... read more

This place gives you an authentic NY deli experience in one sense -- you will pay $15 for a sandwich and then be treated with indifference by the staff. My promised 15 minute take-out order turned into 45 minutes because the counter staff could not be bothered to let me know that my order was in one of the Styrofoam... More

Great if you are looking for dogs or a sandwich. I had the chili cheese and my husband had the Reuben. My son had two foot longs with just cheese. One was not enough had to go back and order another. I had onion rings and they were good. The fries are the thick steak fries. We do not really... More

Waited a long time, no one in line, ignored by hostess. Finally got a table then never saw a waiter. We finally just got up and left, with the hostess giving us a chipper "bye" as we hit the door. Never again.

They offer a great lunch special, and the servings are huge (and delicious!) Mac n cheese needed a little more cheese though. Would go back again.

I got the best Reuben sandwich I have had, outside a little deli on Los Angeles. The bread was just right piled high with corner beef and just the right amount of kraut and dressing. So yummy. Oh. The cheese cake want bad either.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Clean with good service. Great for breakfast or lunch. Had lunch and ate breakfast, which is served all day here. Very tasty food. Will be back again.

The stuffed cabbage with two sides for less than $11, what a bargain. Enough for two or three people so plan on taking some home. I have had a great Ruben sandwich and Matzaball soup. You would think you are in a real New York Deli. Open all night, across from a police station.

Located in the Montrose area this restaurant never closes. They have beef bacon - worth trying. Huge portions. Their matzo ball soup is good. You won't leave hungry. I think they still offer fried pickles - you either like them or hate them but it's fun to try them. Friendly and helpful staff. If you need guidance on what to... More

I was excited to find a Jewish restaurant with Kosher food in Houston. I arrived with excitement. I asked for some Challah bread and the waiter was having trouble understanding what I was asking for - not sure why? Then, I ordered chicken with "potato pancakes (latkes)" and fries. My partner orders a ruben with potato salad. We get our... More
