I was not impressed with Katz's. Walking in, I liked the decor and the atmosphere. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad. Then we waited about 45 minutes for our food. I ordered the French Dip with fries. My fries were cold and there wasn't a lot of roast beef on my sandwich. We didn't get... More

Decided to go here since we needed something to eat at 1am and they're open 24/7. The atmosphere is nice, only downside was the noise level was a little too much. Service was good, given that the place was packed. Food was also good, just pricey for something that could've been made at home. Overall, it was nice. I'll try... More

They start your meal with free appetizers of kosher dill pickles and fresh coleslaw that i could have made a meal of. A vegetarian rueben that was delicious and deep fried pickles that cannot be topped. I actually like the smaller portions so that leaves room for their key lime pie that is fabulous. Wait staff was very attentive and... More

My daughter and son in law just moved to Houston. We met some friends there since we were visiting from Massachusetts. The food was extraordinary and there were GLUTEN FREE options as well! The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating, since my son in law is a physician and was held up at the hospital, so he was late... More

Katz' is open 24 hrs - a plus, but a bit pricey for deli. I like the atmosphere better than I-HOP. Other 24 hr places in Houston I like as well that have better value.

It's been a few months since visiting Katz's. Things have changed. Ordered the Hebrew Natonal salami sandwiches - man have they gotten smaller......!!!!! Started with a cup of Matzo Ball soup. Huge Matzo Ball.....!!!! However, NO SOUP.....!!!!!!

My first review of Katz's a couple of years ago was very negative and I was sincere at the time. In the past year I have been cohersed to return to Katz's on two occasions and I must say my attitude has changed for the better. They have improved their accessibility issues by offering seating downstairs and allowing access to... More

I have been coming to Kats since they first came to Houston and I am a fan. I love the delli sandwich and the value for how large they are is great. The only thing is (as many reviews state) is the hit or miss service...mainly miss. To me...that is just poor management.

Was in the area and because of the deli's reputation for good sandwiches gave it a try. We ordered the corned beef brisket, to go, sandwich was good. My gripe with this restaurant even though we were in there for about 15 is the wait-staff. Most seemed to be more interested in socializing with each rather than customer service. Stood... More

I love the friend pickles and Yankee pot roast sandwich! If you are in Houston, you should definitely check this place out!
