Best Vietnamese restaurant in town hands down! Delicious, large quantities, awesome look, super clean, interesting drinks and did I mention DELICIOUS?!?! If you like Vietnamese food you HAVE to go and eat up. So starve all morning or day and go eat lunch or dinner and make sure to go thirsty. Lotus blossom martini is thebomb.com!!!

After hours spent at the convention center, we were looking for a place close, good food, and reasonably priced. Found it! Being very cold (30's) and rainy , we were looking for some hot food, preferably soup. My niece had been to Mai's before & recommended the place- open til 3:30 am for night owls -just as a side note.... More

Mai's has been a favorite for years, and I've eaten there regularly. However, lately I've been disappointed in service and food. The last two visits were a little after the lunch rush (around 1:30 - 2:00 p.m.) and both times there was a large table of kitchen personnel eating their lunch in the dining room. Service was very slow, small... More

Colorful fresh slices of white onion, red bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, whole snow peas, minced ginger, green onions, a generous portion of meat and steamed white rice was served to me, for the # 107, General Tso' Chicken. The aroma captured my senses. With that first bite, all I could say was Oh Mia Goodness! My food was so delicious.... More

We drive all the way from Rosenberg to downtown Houston once a week to eat here. I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Best won ton soup I have ever eaten, best Asian made Cornish hen I have ever eaten. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant.

I've been a customer of Mai's for the last 15 years. I have been pleased with their food and their service all along. Mai herself is present every day. Years ago she used to be the cashier....but, for the last two years, she's been managing the kitchen and making sure everything is up to par... This after a big fire... More

Great, all hours asian food, great service and fun spot! I love this place, it is a must try. It's open late after a fun night on the town.

Horrible Service. I went on a 1st date & tried to pay the bill and leave a nice tip. However, I whispered to the waiter to type in my CC#; my magnetic strip will not work. I'm with a group of close friends, an attractive woman, and her best guy friend. He said "You're card is declined, it won't work."... More

My first experience of Vietnamese food. My husband eats here with his friends a lot and so he took me there for dinner last week as we had only a short time to eat. The food came out very quickly, was well cooked and hot. I ordered the crispy noodles with meat, fish and veg. The plate was heaped with... More
