Lunch with Dallas visitor

Had a business lunch there. Hey have these lunch courses which taste very awesome. Starts with a soup or salad, a main course and dessert. The portions are sized great, enough to keep us full till dinner.

I have been here a few times in the past and always had good experiences. Today was different and very embarrassing. I brought a client and his guest here for a late lunch, around 12:45. We were seated promptly waited one. The problem arose when they served the first course. Mine was a small salad where the other guest were... More

We work in the building so very convenient place to eat upscale. Waiter service is excellent. We had the pine nut salads, delicious. Followed by the crab cake appetizer. A scotch and water was very filling. Great way to debrief after a busy work day.

In winter my wife and I struggle to find a restaurant that is not so noisy we can't hear a word we are saying (too many restaurants are now in a warehouse style, without any furnishing to dampen the echoing noise). In summer we sit outside, whatever the temperature, but winter is another story. So the Post Oak Grill becomes... More

My wife and I went yesterday for her work Christmas party. The place itself was cozy quiet and low lit. The ambiance was great and the food was delicious. I can't wait to go back and have a quiet dinner with the wife rather than be there as part of a party.

Quiet little restaurant tucked away near uptown - was great for a private business dinner and others there ranged from business to couples and some small celebratory dinners - but it was quiet and peaceful and private. Service was outstanding - the waiter quickly understood our schedule and was very good at providing great service without being intrusive. Dinner was... More

Lovely atmosphere, with soft lighting and quality flowers on the tables. Booths are a bit small for four people - get a table if you need more room. There was live music from what appeared to be a bar area beyond the dining room, and it was an annoying intrusion into the serenity of the dining venue. I don't know... More

Kitchen staff can be heard swearing at each other. Floors uneven. Lousy place for groups. Doors do not close. Dessert served late. Food is great. Wait staff is polite but they can not make up for the management flaws. Place should be gutted and start over.

The food was wonderful. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was probably the best I've ever had. Had their fresh-squeezed lemonade which was so yummy. The appetizer was really good too. I got lamb chops & shrimp. No complaint whatsoever on the food. The place could use some updating. Very dingy & dark. Not sure what the trailer... More

Called a few minutes ago and was scolded by the staff member for not immediately responding to his gruff hello. I understand that this is a busy and successful restaurant but was very disappointed at the rude tone delivered by the staff. I expect this is the exception and not the rule, but thought the restaurant should be made aware.... More
