The food here is theoretically Latin fusion, but much of it is pretty straight American. Excellent and large salads -- the warm chicken salad and Nantucket Blue are both outstanding. The fish is fresh and well-prepared. It usually comes sided with mashed sweet potatoes that are out of this world. The service is enthusiastic but sometimes a bit discombobulated, depending... More

On a recent Saturday night, I had a reservation for 13 to celebrated my two son's birthdays. I called in the afternoon to cofirm our reservation. They showed it only for 12. That corrected, we arrived 5-10 minutes early. They never said they lost our reservation but that was the impression given. After waiting 25 minutes we were placed at... More

A very intimate restaurant but also a friendly crowd, the service is wonderful the food and drinks are consistent. One of the better restaurants in town. So few restaurants in town with the level of quality with little pretentiousness, not unlike the Stables was when it was here.

I lived in Houston until 1996 and this was one of my favorite restaurants. Returning for business, I met a friend for dinner, mid-week, at the Post Oak Grill. At rush hour, it is difficult to get through the Galleria area. But in the end, it is worth it. My online reservation request received a fast response. The food is wonderful.... More

had two business lunches here recently and both were excellent. Very nice decor, excellent service, very reasonable pricing and a delicious, varied menu with an emphasis on salds, seafood, and pasta. I remarked to my colleague that if this restuarant were near my office I would be a regular there, it is that good. Since I will be doing some... More

My colleagues and I again used this restaurant for a business meal and had another positive experience. The service was attentive and the food was very good. The only draw back is the expensive price but it's on par with other high end restaurants. I had the filet which was very good. Others also enjoyed their meals.

L'Orangerie, Ma Maison, michaels, La Cirque. It's back to the future all over again. Great service, larger portions than expected, amazing homemade bread & Duck Pate. High quality food. Patrons are stuffy but the service is very down to earth & friendly. Now I know why it has survived the test of time....

Don't bother unless you are in need of a last minute option. This restaurant will undoubtedly have PLENTY of room.

Post Oak Grill has REALLY good food but it's quite pricey. I work DT so I go to the location in the tunnel where they have an express area for taking to go and the selections are more wallet friendly. The restaurant is worth a visit though as the food is really good and service is great.
