We visited the restaurant on Martin Luther King Day since my husband and myself were both off work that day and had been sight seeing in Houston. Ninfa's was on our "bucket list" to visit before we move out of the area soon. I had a combination meal and my husband and fajitas. Everything was wonderful and the margaritas were... More

The food is good. Used to be that two margies was my limit - until yesterday. At $10 a pop, I'd like a bit more tequila in my drink. I advise you stick to the beer, save your money for a good bottle of tequila at Specs and make your own margaritas at home.

Lots of good selections to choose from. Huge amounts of food on the combo plates. Great chips and salsa.

It is the first and like it but don't love it. The food is good but not great.

In town for the U.S. Olympic Marathon trials and Marathon itself. Wanted to get some local cuisine and one of the restaurants on the hotel list was this place. Went with wife and two other friends. Food was great, place was packed but we apparently missed the evening rush (arrived about 645pm on a Friday). Quick service good food. Would... More

We've been going to this original Ninfa's restaurant for more than 20 years, and it's still one of of favorites. That's saying a lot, considering that Houston is chock full of great Mexican restaurants. Parking can be an issue, so do yourself a favor and go for lunch or on a week night. If the weather's nice, sit on the... More

This place has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. The green sauce has never changed in all these years and is worth the trip alone. The lovely outside dining area is a wonderful place to eat or just enjoy an awesome margarita (or two).

Of all the Ninfa's in town, I'd only go the this original on Navigation. Not sure why the other Ninfa's all have been franchised and ended up with a cheap, faster-food place vibe. The original is in a funky area of Houston, and is a true Houston classic. I'm really looking forward to trying the epic new burger at the... More

I first went to this restaurant when it was the only Ninfa's in town, and it is still good. It would be nice if they had happy hour prices on margaritas.
