We always bring out of towners to this wonderful Mexican restaurant . Meals never disappoint and of course Margies are the best.

Our first trip to the " original" Ninfa's. We have been Ninfa's Fans for thirty years. The fajitas were fantastic. Be sure to get your favorite "add ons" in is worth the price.

I had the duck tacos tonight per the chef's menu. How perfect was the duck. Crispy and tender in all the right places. To cool down the hot & humid day, fresh jicama, carrots and toasted pumpkin seeds. My only critique was that the home made corn tortillas were a bit thick. Try a mezcal margarita. This HTX institution is... More

Great food. From the chips and queso to the fajitas. You have to try the flour tortilla chips. The margaritas are cool and refreshing

Always good food here but this time the margaritas were a little disappointing. Always be prepared for a long wait when you're here but you will be rewarded with good food and lots of complimentary nacho chips.

Recently found The Original Ninfa's on Naviagation after reading an article about the restaurant in the Houstonian. For starters, they have free valet parking (but, please tip the guys!). We have never had a long wait to be seated, even though they are very busy. The Ninfa Margaritas are the BEST! Great taste, not too sweet, not to much alcohol... More

Normally I wouldn't be thrilled with an evening in a crowded, noisy restaurant - but this time it was an ALL-TIME BEST TIME! The food, of course, was delicious, with so many unusual dishes to choose from. I had grilled pineapple skewers, first time ever at a Mexican restaurant. But it was more the whole atmosphere - great attentive staff... More

My family and I have been going to Ninfa's for 25 years. We live in Louisiana now but my husband works in Houston 5 days/week and commutes. Whenever I want REAL Tex-Mex - he takes his cooler and picks up my cheese enchiladas, chips and hot sauce and brings it home...250 miles. Now THAT'S hardcore! The hot sauce is the... More

We went after a baseball game at Minute Maid. We were glad that we made reservations as many local fans had the same idea. I knew were were a a great place when at least one of the Red Sox players showed up in line behind me. Staff was very efficient and friendly even though very busy Saturday evening, they... More
