Although it is no longer owned by the Laurenzo family we half expected to be greeted by Mama Ninfa as we walked through those old doors.. Everyone from the valet to the hostess, waitress, bussers and all the other waiters just made us feel welcomed. It was nice to see how the staff worked together to make the evening so... More

Loved the freshly made tortillas and the margaritas. The actual filling on the fajitas was only average, but I thought the "toppings" they offer were unique. When in Houston and craving Tex-Mex, this is clearly the place to go.

A friend lived in Houston and said this was his favorite place and now I can see why. The Margarita was average but the salsa was yummy. A "guacsauce" mix of guacamole and the salsa was also very good. The marinated steak in the steak fajitas was better than just the steak as Carne Asada. Large portions and tasty food... More

This by far is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Houston. The atmosphere is very friendly, laid back, and lots of room. It's always packed. The margaritas are awesome. I had the shredded brisket flautas. They were mouthwatering! Everybody said their food was excellent. I never get sick of this place. I also love to take out of... More

We enjoyed a weekday lunch meal and it was all fresh tasting & delicious. Kids meals weren't listed on the menu, but our waitress told us the options. The place wasn't crowded, and wait staff service was just okay. The front door staff was very friendly. Being at the Original Ninfa's with it's long history is a special treat. We... More

I live in Baton Rouge and frequent the Ninfas there frequently...but Ninfas on Navigation blew this one out of the water! Amazing service and unforgettable food! We contemplated going back our second day in Houston because we couldn't get it off our minds! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area. The complimentary valet was fast... More

I had always heard that this restaurant was very authentic and the food was amazing so I wanted to try it. I went for a date night and really didn't feel that it was any different from any other tex mex restaurant. The food was good but nothing out of this world. I wasn't impressed.

A huge disappointment. We used to eat here for family special occasions in the good ole days and now they have expanded and the food is horrible. Only the queso and flour tortillas were worth eating. We even had to send our basket of stale chips back twice! And they only gave us 4 flour tortillas with our queso for... More

I get it, Houston institution, great story, great history, original location blah blah blah. but how's the food and service? It's ok. It's not great, it's not awful...it's just nothing special. I've been here several times over the years and it is very consistently average. The food is pretty good, the service tends to be kind of slow, even when... More

A longtime Houston tradition, Ninfa's on Navigation continues to pay homage to its founder with excellent food and service. During our second visit, we enjoyed being warmly greeted and promptly seated. In addition to the chips and red and green salsa, we also received warm corn muffins, which were quite tasty. Our meals followed quickly, and were definitely delicious and... More
