Prepare to wait

Usually a wait, for a table, but the food is consistently very good, especially the fajitas. A bit overpriced, but good quality.

The margarita was fantastic. The place is very lively colorful and fun. My waitress, Nita couldn't have been nicer. I had a dish that had broiled salmon and crab cake. The crabcake was like none other. Better than most. It was fresh cooked crab shaped into a upside down bowl ( not fried into a patty) with a sauce and... More

Awesome margaritas and tex mex food. Great for friends and family. I recommend the margarita (rocks and salt) and enchiladas. Location is ideal for local visitors and business travelers.

This is a great family restaurant, with an intimate but bustling atmosphere! The starters are small but about right. Be careful on the mains as they are large! I like to start with the crab claws (1lb) and the table-side guacamole. After that treat, the fish tacos are good. If you wash this down with a margarita be very careful,... More

We were in town for a wedding and decided we needed to try some good Tex Mex and we weren't disappointed. We started with the chili queso and it so good that we probably ate too much by the time our dinners arrived. The portions are definitely "Texas" sized. We had a great server - he was attentive without being... More

I always eat at Pappasito's at least once during my trips to Houston. Great food, great pina coladas and good service. The only down side is that it's always loud, frequently busy and the portions are too big. That said, it's worth the wait and some folks don't mind the noise and over-eating!

Stopped by with a large business group on a Wednesday night. Atmosphere was lively and background noise rather loud. We started with a civeche combo that was good For the entree I had a pan seared snapper which was perfectly blackened seasoned but overcooked Portions were huge

It's Wednesday night in Houston and raining and everyone has the same idea. Pappasito's!!! The wait was an hour and we found a spot at the rail and got lucky. A server spotted us, got us drinks and served our meal there as well. Food was excellent as always even with my special order. One of my favorites - will... More

Fabulous food. Tasty margaritas. Wednesday is half off fajitas, so it can be a little busy and loud but definitely worth a visit.
