A bit of a disappointment...

For years, Da Marco was our favorite Houston restaurant, and each time we dined there, we came home happy, satisfied, our expectations having been met or exceeded. Not this last time. In recent months, we had noticed it was getting harder to get reservations at Da Marco. and while we were happy the... read more

Love the atmosphere, classy yet comfy... Food is excellent Truffle risotto should be on every foodie bucket list; can't describe the truffle flavor combined with Parmesan cheese melted in this creamy sauce, when you are eating it you hope it doesn't ever end. One of the most delicious things I ever had! Branzino is always fresh and delicious with the... More

I had an absolutely wonderful meal at Da Marco. The wait staff was very pleasant, professional, and recommended some great dishes. I ordered the short ribs and have never been so satisfied with a meal (I don't order short ribs anywhere else now!). All of our entrees were divine and I look forward to dining at Da Marco in the... This is one of the most expensive restaurants I've eaten, but not one of the best restaurants. Way overpriced. Definitely an expense account restaurant and the crowd looked it. Excellent service, very nice ambiance. Wine list has a few reasonably priced wines, but when you're dropping over a hundred on the meal, who's looking for reasonable wine.

we dine here about 3-4 times per year. wish it was more. Every time I dine here I am reminded what perfect food and perfect service should be. They are consistently one of the best dining experiences anywhere. I usually get the branzino Carpaccio with foie gras to start, some truffle risotto, a burrata cheese and prosciutto pizza, and the... More

My wife and I went for her birthday on a Thursday evening. Although the restaurant was very busy everything went smoothly. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. I did wear a coat, as did almost everyone in the restaurant. For appetizers the grilled octopus was excellent. Large enough to share. The "maple leaf" duck was excellent. Cooked... More

What a grand Northern Italian restaurant. Waiters dressed in white dinner jackets, chalkboard menu as well as a regular menu and one of the best Chianti wine by the glass that I have ever tasted.

We arrived early for our reservation and were quickly seated. Very good Italian wine list but no mixed drinks so my husband had to forgo his old fashioned. Had a wonderful Burrata salad and the lamb chops were amazing! My husband had the soft shell crab appetizer which was very tasty and the veal porterhouse with risotto which was quiet... More

Although we had a reservation, it appeared that our table was not ready when we got in. As a result, we had to stay by the bar until then. While at the bar, I ordered a glass of Italian sparkling wine (Franciacorta) without asking for the wine list or the price since the bottle was already opened in a nice... More
