Description: Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

We were there for a rehearsal dinner upstairs in a nice room. We were served a sit down dinner that started with turtle soup that was wonderful and also the salad! After that the rest of the meal was so-so steak was just ok & fish was a bit fishy.

Got there right on time, and we were seated right away, lots of space between tables, super food and service, including a short visit with the Executive Chef. Interesting that people actually got "dressed up," to eat here. The best lemon meringue pie I have ever had. Looking forward to the next time.

Attended a Christmas Party at Brennan's and I can say it was the best large group food I ever attended. The signature turtle soup kept everyone coming back for more. The crab cakes were special. I normal do not like catfish but Brennan's were great. How can they serve filet for so many and have it perfect? Don' forget to... More

My wife and I have eaten here a few times. It's pretty pricey so we've only done it for special occasions. We started with Shrimp Remoulade as an app. Really tasty. Then for entrees we had Gulf Fish Pontchartrain and Gulf Coast Shrimp Chippewa. My wife had the shrimp but I kept sneaking bites of her's....so good!! But the desserts... More

White table clothes, good china and flatware, and wait staff well spoken and professionally dressed enhance an excellent Southern menu. Steaks are always cooked as requested, salads crisp and cold. Don't miss the trio of soups or be more daring and try a full bowl of the turtle soup.

Brennan's has done a great job. Their staff is laid back yet professional and non-intrusive. There are other modern places to try, but your wasting your time. This is the most pleasant and satisfying fine dining in Houston

I had lunch at Brennan's with a friend and she suggested I tried the turtle soup along with my meal. The soup was delightful!!! I had had turtle soup once before in Thailand but I didnt enjoy it as much. Brennan's turle soup has a little bit of spice to it, rich and creamy and it tastes like beef almost.... More

We dined at Brennan's for a birthday celebration. We had not been to Brennan's since the fire several years ago. The restaurant is very beautiful and elegant. It took a long time for the wait staff to bring water, menus, and drink offerings. However, once they got started, the wait staff was attentive. My only complaint was that the menu... More

Brennan's is a beautiful restaurant. I feel transported to New Orleans by the decor and the food. I love the turtle soup. Every fish entree is always top notch and the Bananas Foster is a must do experience! They make it right at your table and it's just flaming fun deliciousness. The courtyard is absolutely stunning if you're able to... More
