Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

I think this spot is better than their New Orleans restaurant. Impeccable service. Super Sunday brunch.

As a member of the Houston Chow Hounds we are given royal treatment by the staff of this restaurant. Don't forget to get a pecan praline or two on your way out!

Everyone knows what these restaurants are like. Our server did a ok job in preparing the meal, but for the price, I would recommend another place. Food was tasty, but again, not outstanding.I was with a group of 9.

Nice evening dining (dress code). The food was good, but no wow-factor. I didn't care for my entrèe, and told the waiter. He took it off the bill, which was nice! Not to expensive. We had a nice evening at this restaurant, and they had a good wine selection.

Great New Orleans style food in a beautiful and elegant restaurant. The turtle soup is a favorite of mine and the bread pudding soufflé with brandy and cream sauce, it's amazing. It's a first class restaurant and is great for a special occasion as it is expensive. The best deal is the Jazz breakfast on Sundays.

My wife and I tried Brennan's Houston for the first and had a great experience. The food was good and definitely worth doing again. We really liked the atmosphere and the service. We had been to Brennan's in New Orleans several years ago and that was a very memorable experience and thought they were the same but found out it... More

Jazz Brunch on Sundays...do it. The music is great, the service prompt and courteous, and the food heavenly. Put on your Sunday go to Meetin clothes because this place is not for tee shirts and baseball caps. In fact they will refuse you service if you are not properly attired. Beside it brings down the tone of the place. I... More

A group of 12 women chefs joined Chef Danny in the kitchen to celebrate a birthday. It was not the first visit like this and will continue to be our choice for special events. The attention was lux, the food presentations were phenomenal, the workings of the kitchen were precise and well managed, and the pleasant personalities kept the party... More
