Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

A group of 12 women chefs joined Chef Danny in the kitchen to celebrate a birthday. It was not the first visit like this and will continue to be our choice for special events. The attention was lux, the food presentations were phenomenal, the workings of the kitchen were precise and well managed, and the pleasant personalities kept the party... More

A tremendous asset to Houston dining. Fabulous atmosphere, the best of Southern style elegant service and the food - oh my - yes, the food is truly superb. A Must for any special occasion, even if the occasion is just lunch with the ladies or dinner with your sweetheart.

My boyfriend and I had Sunday brunch at Brennan's during our short trip to TX. The restaurant offers $5 valet parking and reservations. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation time, but were still sat within 5 minutes. I have to say that I was disappointed in the room where our table was located. They have a section that... This was my first time visiting and I was really excited to see they had a location in Houston. The one in New Orleans was not open the last time I visited. Sunday brunch with the girls was Fabulous!!! We were seated in the Wine Room and this room was smaller in the back & the walls were lined with... More

Houston has so many new restaurants to try,we forget to eat at Brennan's! But we had a desire for a Friday lunch and where else can you get a cheap martini? The summer menu is great! The standard fare of redfish and gumbo, but okra and tomatoes, jambalaya and our favorite one-one and one, where you get Demi- tasse of... More

The food was good, but the wait from being seated to getting my meal was horrible. The air was broken so it was extremely hot inside.

I've spent many an anniversary celebration or wedding reception here. The food is great, and a bit different than the norm with the "Nawlins" style fare. I think the service is actually what makes the restaurant. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, but not overbearing. It's our favorite restaurant to celebrate anniversaries.

It's a state of the art restaurant with the grandeur old fashion charm of yesteryear. It's a place to go if you are a yuppy, a grandmother or lovers ...how bout a Grandma and her granddaughter? Food is always excellent; it's what they are known for "Cajun Gourmet cooking" Buy the cook book!
