Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

Why don’t we dine here more often?

White table cloths are as crisp as the timing of food delivery--all served at the same time! The full menu has many selections for all tastes and a wine list so long that you may want to wait to see the movie. Brennan's is really about the food. A solid start always is the Turtle soup. Our group decided to try Brennan's for the HRW on Saturday and I had made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Half the party arrived a bit early and we were ushered to the back side patio room - My 92 year old Mother was on a walker - which a distance for her. Once we arrived in the side room... More

A group of 7 ladies decided to celebrate a girl's day out & picked Brennen's to celebrate. We also wanted to take advantage of HRW on a Saturday. Brennen's has a great reputation & beautiful ambiance since remodeling. Today's visit was ambiguous. With reservations for 7, part of our party arrived to discover our "table" was in the side room,... More

Title says it all. Food is great and the service is beyond I expected. We did the restaurant week and it was a great experience. Our table had a yellow ribbon which we were told we were on their VIP list. Cool!

We recently took advantage of Restaurant Week in Houston to visit Brennan's. I had seen how highly rated it was and some of the entrees just looked magnificent. I called a few days ahead of time and made reservations for three. Upon arrival it appears you have to take advantage of their valet service. I really did not mind because... More

This is the place for special occasions...with family or business. Food is great and every detail is important to the staff. Have booked the chef table a few times for client events and they always impress and leave me nothing to worry about!

I was in Houston On July 11, 2015 for my niece's wedding followed by a champagne and Mimosa brunch at Brennan's of Houston. In a nutshell, Brennan's was full-on southern charm at its best! What an experience! From the moment we drove up my family and I enjoyed a first class dining experience blanketed in warm southern hospitality. Every detail... More

Hadn't been in a while. Went as part of Houston Restaurant Week. Good was good. Several of us got the steak. Medium rare was a bit more rare than we are used to. Quail was tasty as was salmon. Salmon sides were just ok. Would have been nice to have a more Gulf type fish. Turtle soup was great. Desserts... More

Celebrated our anniversary at Brennan's. Could not have been happier and satisfied with service, food, cocktails, wine list and romantic surroundings. The impromptu tour of the kitchen at the end of our evening was very cool too!
