Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

We were here with a group and Wally was an excellent adviser to us. We feasted on the taster soups (called 1-1-1), the gumbo, the Brennan's salad, the duck, Pontchartrain, Koo-be-yanh,and Shrimp Chippewa. Dessert consisted of bananas foster, and mud pie. with drinks our total came to $340 for 6 of us.

This was our wedding anniversary and Brennan's really made it special, we were seated at a special table in a very quiet corner, the wait staff (Especially Frederick) were simply outstanding, and the food was ample and wonderfully prepared, following our dinner we were given a private tour of the restaurant and met the executive staff as well as others,... perfection! From the moment we arrived and were met at the door, it was an incredible time! Staff is superb, the food was fantastic, the restaurant itself was perfect with the small group of musicians that went from room to room. I will definitely go back! Loved everything about it. Especially the pralines!

I've been here a number of times over the years and my most recent visit wasn't quite as wonderful as prior ones. Still very good, and will continue to go back, but all the previous visits were absolutely tops in both food and service. This time left me feeling just a little less special.

Went there for a business lunch and everything was great. I had the shrimp and grits. Great choice. The atmosphere was just right for a business luncheon. Not too loud, so we could discuss without talking loud over everyone.

I get it. Brunch at Brennan's. The atmosphere of course is lovely, full of old world charm. It was hopping on Sunday and we were excited to for brunch. There was some charm, but mainly I felt it was a very over priced, mediocre food machine. I appreciated the efforts, but left feeling a little

Brennan's is a lovely restaurant in a lovely building. The service is the absolute best. Thank you to all wait staff - you are the best part of my experience. So nice and attentive. The food is a bit - eh - for the price. Turtle soup is a draw, but it really does not taste great - little chunks... More
