Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

The best of Creole dining! Try their Jazz Brunch menu with my favorites of Turtle Soup (with a touch of Sherry) and Shrimp & Grits (side order of crispy Bacon) and roll out the door after experiencing the flaming Banana Fosters (with GM)...and of course, you have to fill your pockets as you leave with Yummy Pralines! And if you... More

Have a great cocktail in the intimate bar then dinner. So many wonderful menu items to choose from. My favorite the shrimp and grits or the trout. Always superb service. A favorite Houston tradition!

Everyone aways says the food is so great here, but I'm not impressed. I've been here 3 times over the years and there are so many other restaurants in Houston that I'd prefer to go to. I didn't even finish the bread pudding, it lacked flavor. Service was good. The people I was with, weren't impressed either. The best thing... More

I have had the good fortune to visit Brennan's on several occasions and every visit is an excellent experience. The food is always well prepared and much better than similar dishes at other restaurants. For example, recently I visited for weekday lunch and ordered roasted chicken with vegatable (I know, boring), but this dish was delicious. Of course, if you've... More

Have attended wedding rehearsal dinner there, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries. Our favorite fine dining restaurant in Houston. Not at all like it's namesake (the old) Brennans in New Orleans, as our last visit there was quite disappointing. Must try the newly opened renovated Brennans. This place run by a distant relative of the original has done everything to perfection. Service... More

Out of town guests came in town. Brennan's was the best. Great lunch specials with 25 cent melon martinis. Adds to the great food and service. The chicken lunch, the fish special and the shrimp and grits were delicious. Go for the ORIGINAL bread pudding (need to ask as it's not on menu) and the flaming bananas foster for a... More

Brennan's is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston. It is quiet, elegant, delivers professional service and delicious cuisine. It is the place we go to celebrate life events. The remodeling after the hurricane is simply stunning. We have never been disappointed. The Sunday Brunch is also a treat with the lively music.

I went here on expense account. I rarely go to a place this expensive on my own money. The service was very good and the food was too. I retired in 1998 so I was there before your choice of dates and I can't remember when it was anyhow.
