Classy restaurant without the hefty prices. Great seafood. Nobody in our party tried the steak. We had redfish, salmon, and catfish and it was all delicious. The lobster bisque is excellent as well.

Quiet in the evenings -- and on open table for reservations -- and great atmosphere, great wine choices, and excellent food. The crawfish chowder and crab cakes were superb. The Cajun shrimp and grits were great as well. Would return.

You can never go wrong here at lunch. Attentive service, consistent waitstaff. Food is always well prepared and always comes out hot. I would say that the price are a bit high. An average lunch with entre and a drink other than water will cost you $25-$28 all in. I use for business lunches but to pay for an everyday... More

Food was great - seafood is my favorite. Restaurant was quiet and not too busy for a late in the week evening. Staff was flawless and attentive. Within walking distance to several hotels (across from Four Seasons) . . . close to Embassy Suites and Hilton Americas Hotel. Nice back room for larger groups to enjoy.

Didn't pick this one out - ended up here with a group of friends, but it turned out to be quite good. Wife had stuffed shrimp which were delicious! I had the smoke salmon pasta which was fresh and light. Fairly accommodating of our group (9 of us) - added 20% gratuity which seemed a bit high in the end... More

Dinner for seven served timely, All food had good flavor and the plates were well arranged. Only negative, portions were kind of small for the price. When a 12 yr old says, "I could have eaten a little more," tells you something about the portions.

Massa's has been a Houston staple for years and it definitely serves reliable seafood. But no oyster or scallop dishes and, generally, the dishes are not particularly innovative. But you know what you are getting and the location is very good in downtown Houston.

I was looking for a restaurant in the vicinity of the Toyota Center to take some clients out to dinner. They were going to see The Eagles in concert, so we wanted to dine somewhere nearby. Many of the restaurants I am familiar with were already booked, so I decided to give Massa's a try. I called early in the... More

My husband and I were wondering around downtown looking for a place to eat after arriving late in the afternoon. Since we had just arrived we weren't sure where to go. We saw this place on our walk so I looked it up on tripadvisor, saw it had pretty good reviews so we decided to eat here. The menu had... More

I've probably walked by this place 10 or so times and thought I need to give it a try. Some nights it appears to be quite busy, while other nights it can be completely dead. Well I finally went and I'm quite happy I did. I had the herb crusted salmon and it was great. It came with sautéed spinach... More
