Average food in a good location

The restuarant itself is in a nice place (within minutes of the Wortham Center and Bayou Place.) It's a little pricey for the quality of the food but for an after concert snack or drink it will do.

Great food, great atmosphere. Never a disappointment. They make minor changes here and there occasionally but over all they are very consistent and always delicious! They have an incredible brunch on Sunday's too but make sure you come hungry! There is so much food and it's a great way to start off a day of exploring downtown Houston.

My dinner here was exceptional. The server was new, but made every attempt to satisfy our needs and take care of our table. He asked others when he didn't know the answer to a question, and provided friendly service. The beer and wine selection was nice, and the food was great. I had the eggplant Parmesan and pasta. The pasta... More

Having heard a lot of good things about this restaurant I was pleased to find out that it was where we, as a group of friends, were going to celebrate New Year's. Being that the friends we were with lived in a loft in Downtown Houston we walked over to the restaurant and found that it was quite full with... More

This was an odd place. Italian food with an Irish theme. The service was good, and the food was average to mediocre. We had the Caprese Salad appetizer. For the price, it was underwhelming. The tomatoes weren't ripe enough and were flavorless. They used a squirt of balsamic dressing on the top which wasn't really restaurant quality work. The cheese... More

The service is excellent and food variety is great. The prices are some what high but the service and quality justifies it. Desserts are also good. Location is good with paid parking available .

Our family decided we would try this place for the first time and OMG the food was delicious! The garlic and cheese bread was "to die for" and the pizza was delectable. Our server, Samantha was the epitome of a waitress. So the great food and excellent service, will definitely get us back in there this summer.

We were seeing a play at the Jones Hall so we chose Birraporetti’s for dinner due impart to its close proximity to the Hall. My first impression of the restaurant as I walked in was a dump; the carpet floors are ripped and filthy and the décor is generally dirty and really needs a good cleaning and updating. We decided... We eat here every time we go to events downtown. The food is great and the service is usually good but tonight it was terrible. Very disappointing. Avoid server Samantha, you'll wait hours and then get attitude when you bring the lack of service up to the manager.

Wife and I wanted a kick bite to eat one saturday evening after a theter show. Sat at the table for half an hour before being able to get anyone to get order for us. Wife's salad was not what we ordered but did not want to delay further... My linguini with clams in white wine was horrible. On top... More
