I visited this restaurant a few years ago, and I am glad to confirm today - it is still excellent. Calamari steak appetizer is perfect. A duet of scallop and Tina was cooked to perfection. I like that the portions are not huge - you can taste and enjoy several things. Food presentation is great, so is the service. Definitely... More

Mashraff's is a serious contender for the best restaurant in Houston. The ambience is sophisticated, the parking easy, the location very accessible. The bar for drinks is cosy, and tasteful. The menu is very tempting, and on Friday they had a special of Monk Fish - quite rare in Texas! The starter of Tuna Tartar with Avocado is really good,... More

It was great to discover a restaurant in the middle of downtown Houston that is not in a tower building. The design is welcoming and the staff very attentive to the needs of their customers. The European-style food is excellent and we had a great business luncheon there. The wine cellar is amazing and exceptionally diversified and attractive.

Our meal was fantastic, however, I could taste the gas from the grill in my scallops. Maybe a wood grill would work better. Other than that, the server was very helpful and patient. Will come back but won't order the scallops again.

We come often and are never disappointed. Tony and Russell the owners are typically here and the atmosphere is great. The bread is really tasty. The daily risotto is always great and the calamari is the best I have ever tasted. The tuna dishes are phenomenal and the wild game duo dish was great. The desserts are to die for... More

Genuinely nice folks, attentive and professional. That professionalism in service was matched by the cuisine, which was outstanding. Calamari steaks and bison ribeye - all unbelievably good. Dining companions all reveled in their dinners. Mr. Masraff came by to say hello and we chatted for awhile - a very solid restaurant.

First time we have been here since they moved several years ago. We used to live on the other side of town, but are now nearer. We will be back often. A perfect experience from the moment we drove up. Everyone very welcoming, and I mean everyone from the valet on. Waitstaff was attentive and knowledgable and sensitive to timing.... More
