Masraff's continues to improve, even though it has maintained a five-star rating in our book for years. I had last rated this restaurant in 2012, saying their one fault was that their dessert menu was too limited and unimaginative. That problem has been solved, as they now have some excellent desserts and a wider selection. Starting with the appetizers, make... More

We ordered from the Houston Restaraunt Week menu ($45 per dinner) and every dish was perfect - shrimp seviche super fresh, combination of fruits, herb and shrimp , with a plantane chips was outstanding. Filet mignon was to die for! Best one I've had for some time (I am a meat-lover and enjoy steak houses). Side portion was not big... More

A group of 8 opted to go here for dinner during Houston's Restaurant Weeks (great charity event - look it up!) and I'm certainly happy we did. Because of our large group, we got to try everything on the (limited) menu and it was AWESOME! Top contenders: garlic seared calamari, risotto du jour (our beef sausage & chanterelle mushroom), chicken... More

WOW. We go there a lot and are never disappointed. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the donuts for dessert. Anything in between will be good. I am still begging them to bring back the warm chocolate cake batter dessert (not actual name but what it tasted like).

We visited for dinner on a Friday evening. The free valet parking was quick and efficient. Our reservation was acknowledged and we were seated immediately. Our server introduced herself and took our drink orders. After to useful discussion with the waitress we both selected meals from the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu which offered 3 courses for $45. Olives and three... More

We went for Restaurant Weeks 2015. The selection was great and the food very good. However, every dish had a "sweet" component that became a bit overwhelming by the end. I don't mind some sweetness. Grilled calamari was excelent (bit sweet :)) as was the risotto du jour - Rock shrimp. Filet was perfectly cooked.

We went to Masaraff's for my husband's birthday with my two-year-old. Even though it is not the place to bring small children, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the calamari dish for appetizer and a the baby spinach salad. The calamari was cooked in the most creative way that I had ever tasted and was excellent. For... More

A friend and I while out shopping decided to have a quick bite of lunch and dropped in Masraff's around 1:15pm without a reservation. They were friendly and accommodating, seating us immediately in the main dining room. We ordered, I had the Boston lettuce salad with a grilled chicken breast (not on the menu like this) but they were accepting... More

Yes, the food is pricey, but extremely delicious. I highly recommend the creme brûlée. It was fantastic! I also had a vegetarian pot pie. The puff pastry was fluffy and the sauce was creamy but not too rich. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and our server was personable and knowledgeable. Highly...
