A little pricey.. But loved the food!

You get so much food for what you pay for. One sandwich is around 10.00, but my goodness that thing is enormous. I'm surprised I could still eat dinner! Definitely go here if you're looking for a cozy little area to enjoy lunch.

We used to visit this place often while we lived in Houston, now we moved to the Woodlands area so it is more than an hour drive to get there. Do not judge this restaurant by the exterior looks, which may lead you to think less of it. In reality it is a great place for vegan and vegetarians, but... More

The food at the Hobbit Cafe saved this review. It is amazing. I got the Dwalin sandwich, which was delicious and huge despite being the "slim" version. Also got a mango smoothie which was lovely. Our server was great, very friendly. Aside from the food, the cafe is adorable. It has indoor seating, but we sat on the porch outside... More

Visited this place after a wedding in Houston. Came with a large party (~15 people) with a reservation, and we were seated right away, on their outside patio. You can't tell from the outside, but the interior decor has a charming Middle Earth theme, replete with movie props, books, and an unsettlingly lifelike statue of Gollum sitting above the entrance.... I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and was intrigued by the fact that they have an extensive non-meat menu selection. We came in on a Sunday evening and there was a bit of a wait. Tables were available, but they were short on staff. We were eventually seated. Our waiter arrived relatively promptly and took our order. The food... More

First time to this restaurant and we went right as they opened. I had the Gandalf "slim" which is supposed to be smaller but was two meals for me. There wasn't much turkey - one slice only which surprised me as there was an abundance of avacado. But, it was delicious! The fellas ordered burgers. The mahi mahi burger was... More

Our friends suggested this cafe and it was delish and healthy. It was busy and off the beaten path but totally worth it. If your a hobbit or Lord of the rings fan this cafe is a must!!

Based on previous reviews we went between lunch and dinner 4 lunch. My son had a Gandalf and he loved it! He never have had raw mushrooms before but there was so much avocado (my guess about a whole medium one) that it didn't matter :) it was very good! Lamb burger excellent, tuna salad really good too. Abundant portions!... More

A large group of us visited for lunch - small cafe tucked in an old neighborhood - it had been almost 10 years since I was here last - not many changes. It is a converted house with wooden, floors mix / match chairs and tables with a covered patio. It shares the parking lot with 3 other small restaurants... More

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Hobbit Cafe for lunch; once with a group of 13 on a Friday & once with my husband on a Tuesday. The cafe is just like it sounds: renovated 1920's house with 3 rooms with wooden tables and chairs & a large patio with plastic tables and chairs. The eclectic menu is... More
