We went there for our anniversary and were seated in th same room as about 20 girls celebrating. We couldn't even carry on a conversation without raising our voices. A woman from another tab From another table went over to them and they quieted down while she talked to them but that didn't last. I think it was one of... More

Cozy place with great food, good wine menu sold by the glass, half and full bottle and amazing dessert. All of it with an unique cost benefit. We spent about $35/person with food, wine and dessert. You must visit it!

We ate here on a busy Friday night (without a reservation). We elected to sit outside in the cooler weather. What we liked; good menu items to choose from, delicious and perfectly prepared foods, the service was good, the ambience is very nice. There is a garden area out back and patio dining in the front available. My only criticism... More

We decided to have brunch here before going to an afternoon matinee. When I made the reservations they asked if we could go upstairs. Once we arrived they took us up but it was soooo loud. The host graciously took us downstairs near the bar area. We could hear the trio of musicians playing low key jazz. It was great.... More

My birthday lunch here, suggested by a friend who was treating me to lunch, was divine. The chef owner has a following in Houston and her food never fails. Wait staff are articulate, available and nonintrusive, the wine list is thoughtful, and the ambience is warm...dark wood, linen, nice flatware. Proteins receive special treatment are are accompanied by divine sauces... More

Tucked away just off the Shepherd curve resides an old house converted into a fabulous restaurant and bar with a tranquil garden in back and patio in front. It is always packed because it the food and beverages are always top notch!

This is one of the better restaurants i have visited this year. It is a charming house and we sat on the second floor, charming. Nice selection of wine by the glass. The ZD chardonnay went well with the shellfish risotto, and it was the best risotto i have ever had. My daughter raved about the shrimp and grits. My... More

This was our second time eating here. Same great food and very enjoyable evening at a quiet corner table. It was mid-week so the server was very relaxed and allowed us to slowly enjoy our bottle of wine and conversation. I know they would have wanted to move us along if it had been a Friday or Saturday night. The... More

We have been here twice. It is an older home converted into a restaurant, nice cozy place. First time there we had crab cake appetizer and it was really good. I ordered the salmon tacos and husband had ciopinno. We both really enjoyed our meals. The second time we went we had chicken satay appetizer. It was just ok, probably... More
