Brunch is on point

I went here for brunch a few weeks ago and had a delicious meal outside on the patio. We started with a grapefruit mimosa, and I ordered a soft-shell crab eggs benedict, which was their special for the day. And it was perfect. Everything was cooked wonderfully and the pico de gallo it was... read more

I went to the Backstreet Café for a business dinner. There were 6 of us and we shared little plates and desserts so I had an opportunity to sample many of the menu items. First of all, the atmosphere was great. It was intimate and I did not feel that our table was too close to other diners. I really... More

Picked this place from list of Houston restaurant week. Hard to get to due to Shepherd street under major repair - so look for another way to get to restaurant. They had special menus for Restaurant week. Many choices with wine pairings - hard to choose. Able to pick and chose from the 4 different menus for an extra $5... More

this used to be a favorite, but was very disappointed in last nights outing. The wine list is now insanely inflated, triple the liquor prices for mediocre labels and out of sight for the good ones. The food was good, not great, and the underdressed group at the bar intrudes into the diners space. Portions are large and some dishes... More

I absolutely love this place, especially for brunch. I eat brunch here all the time, which is absolutely delightful. Recently I had lunch here and it definitely was as expected, delicious. The staff is very attentive, the drinks and food are delicious.

I visited this restaurant early this afternoon for the first time for brunch. It's busy restaurant but they have free valet parking. I ordered the Lump Crab Cakes for an appetizer. They were delicious! They were all crab and no filler which was wonderful. I ate the Texas Gulf Shrimp and Stone Ground Cheese Grits. Again, this was a delicious... More

I was in Houston for the weekend, and I was looking for somewhere for brunch. I jumped on Google and found this beautiful gem. It was a bit busy and the wait was about 35min which passed rather quickly. I was seated on the front patio, which was great because the weather was beautiful. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and...
