If you're looking for a true Italian dining experience (especially before a downtown venue), Damian's is the place to be! The food is amazing, salads are made table side, and Armondo is the best waiter there!!! After dinner, Damian's offers shuttle service to downtown venues. It just doesn't get any better than this with customer service!

I don't know how they cook their shrimp but they are absolutely fantastic, never in my life have I tasted something so delicious. I had the pork chop for dinner which was a bit disappointing but they appetizer made up for all of it. Great service and great experience.

Damian's is a warm oasis of good Italian food in the concrete desert of midtown Houston. The service is attentive and the food is classic and tasty. I enjoyed the veal piccata, not too tart, and served with pasta al dente. The menu is appropriately priced. It was a pleasant escape from the convention center constrained hotel.

The atmosphere and the food were exceptional. The restaurant provides transportation to the theater district to enjoy a musical after dinner. The wait staff was prompt and very tentative to us during our dinner.

Go on a weeknight - meals are served with better quality. Recent visit was very good - the veal raviolis were excellent. Monday night wine deals are a major plus - although, you'll likely have to remind the waiter of the 1/2 price deal. Be careful on the weekends, the kitchen at times may disappoint with over cooked pasta. Good... More

Damian's never fails to provide outstanding service and a great food. I had the Calamari, Tomatoes Siciliano, and Flounder Pizaola. They were all outstanding. The Calamari was light and crispy (not greasy), the Tomatoes and olive & onion combination was excellent, and the Flounder perfect (no pasta just veggies). The prices were quite reasonable given the fare. They apparently have... More

We enjoyed our trip for New Year's eve, but were disappointed as the usually great service was not up to standard and the meal was simply average. The bread basket was the first sign that things were unpredictable as it was filled with cold bread rather than the usual crafted bread selection. The price fix menu jacked up the price... More

First of all we have been going to Damians for over 20 years and have always thought of it as Top Notch. Last Night was a completely different experience. We made reservations for Friday Evening December 19 for our Party of ten way back in September. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation only to find out that Damians... More

This is one of Houston's mainstays when it comes to classic Italian dining. Located in the heart of the city's Fourth Ward, Damian's Old World setting is the perfect venue for a perfect meal. The lobster bisque in a sourdough bowl is unbeatable and the entrees are always up to expectations. From the crusty bread and olive oil at the... More
