Faves here are the hummus (fresh and creamy). You can order the village salad - which is a Greek salad, Greek - style (i.e., no lettuce, just all the yummy stuff). I could eat their chicken lemon soup every week. It's the soup I crave when a cold is coming on. It's so warm and yummy and comforting. Gyro meat... More

Find a friend to share the generous portions with. Hubby and I shared a plate that included a Greek salad, patitsio, moussaka, potatoes. Son and grandson shared gyros and fries. Never manage to get to the desserts. Casual dining, hard benches, good food. A Houston classic.

Have eaten here many times good Greek food in an informal setting. Lately though they started charging as if it is a sit down service resturant. For the cost I would rather sit down and be served.

The food is good and I crave it every now and then. It is quite expensive considering that there are so many reasonably priced eatery's in the area. You order at the counter and pick up when your food is ready, so you save on not having to give the server a tip. It is a popular place for Gyros... More

This place was happening! We showed up around 1 PM on a Tuesday and met a line out the door to order. We did not realize you order at the counter and pick up when it is ready, but not an unpleasant surprise. We stopped in solely because we had seen loukoumades on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and were passing... More

I haven't eaten at Niko Niko's in a long time due to the crappy meals I got a couple of times. I decided to stop in and have lunch. It was much better this time around. My only complaint was I asked for rice and they gave me fries. But overall the food was good and my ordered filled pretty... More

Sometimes there is quite a long line for this food but it is worth the wait. It is not a fancy place but it has authentic greek food for a reasonable price. There is no table service. You order at the counter and pick up and find a table to eat at. I love the gyro and everytime I am... More
