Great Greek Food

Visited Houston for the first time and this restaurant was recommended. Almost missed it because it kept raining during lunch and it is outdoors. Loved the food. I had a falafel pita and my daughter a vegetable pita. Both were delicious. We had the rice pudding and chai tea for dessert. Enjoyed... read more

Great afternoon eatery. Nice, relaxing park in the middle of the city. Great, fresh food and a perfect walk up spot.

I guess the reason for the long line is because the food is so good! We found the food was ready pretty quickly though. Maybe a good idea not to go at peak times.

Came here on a busy Saturday late afternoon. Line was long when we got in. Saw people looking at menus in the line. Not a great way to have the menus all stacked up by the register while people are ordering. Of course we order the gyros. I was anticipating fresh & hot goodness but hopes fell flat. The meat... We recently had 1 night stay in Houston and this was a must for me. I had eaten here 7 years ago and had been craving it ever since. I had to have my husband experience it. I loved their Gyro, Hummus, Pita and Baklava. I really wish I could find a tea locally for their Greek Passion Tea...AMAZING! I... More

Niko Niko's has been a H-town staple for years. Even the Downtown walk-up is great for weekend or quick lunch bites. Everything on the menu is good. Their coffees and desserts are amazing. Fresh grilled meats and large salads are the reason why there is a line every night. Sit on the patio and enjoy the Montrose area.

Yum. When I am really hungry, I get the Pastichio/Mousaka Combo. A wedge of each, served with even more carbs - potatoes/fries, pita, greek salad. Bloat. Top it off with some cabbage rolls, stuffed with beef and rice - Best Value on the menu !

My son took us herebfor Mothers Day. This was a first for me and it was very good. We had the sampler dip platter which was excellent. I then enjoyed a Beef Philly which was huge accompanied by real fries. This is too much food for one in my opinion. Son ate a Gyro which he enjoyed, having been his... More

Hands down the best Greek food in Houston. We go on average once a month. Always crowded but always delicious. We have been to Greece and the food we had all over Greece was just like Niko Niko's. Very authentic. To help avoid the line, call in your order before you arrive. Don't pass up the loukoumades for dessert. Also... More

I've visited Houston several times and whenever I am in town I set aside time to eat here. Be warned - the food is excellent and filling so come hungry and be prepared to make this your last meal of the day. The lines are long, but worth it. There is ample seating indoors and outdoors, but still sometimes not... More
