Worth a visit

Little in the way of ambiance but the service is good without being over-powering and the food is a cut above the average. One of those restaurants that you wouldn't necessarily go out of your way to visit but for a decent dinner it is certainly worth a try.

I had been to Americas River Oaks before, so I was aware of this restaurant family, but we just happened to come across this place while driving around looking for lunch. So, it was rather unplanned, but still incredible. Service was on point. We got quick service, never had a low glass of water, and were able to ask any... More

Had a delicious dinner here. Started with the "crab bites" appetizer which was delicious followed by the "Currascos steak" which was butter soft and incredibly flavorful. Had a very nice Argentinian Malbec which complemented the steak well. Highly recommend this restaurant. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff and management. Prices were moderate but I thought you got good value.

Visiting from out if town and this restaurant came highly recommended by a friend living in Houston. We are really glad we came. What made it amazing was that the menu options are totally out of the ordinary by most American standards. Presentation of meals were outstanding. Flavors were unique and fabulous. Now for the service. Andre was awesome. Maneuvered... More

Located near my hotel, thought I'd try it during a biz trip. Walking in, it has 2 sides - left being dining area and right being bar area, although tables / benches set up to eat there as well. Started with their fantastic plantain chips and dips - outstanding. Could make a meal on that alone. For the entre', opted... More

I have eaten at other locations in Houston. This was my son's birthday and were seated promptly. After 20 minutes I went to the bar to order drinks as the waiter never showed. Finally we had service and ordered. After dinner we ordered one dessert and a few drinks. The waiter bought 2 more desserts including a flaming dish for... More

Steaks are out of this world. Plantains keep flowing to enlighten your palette. Wine list is exceptional, always a good offering and reasonably priced. Staff are so welcoming. Atmosphere is warm, personal but vibrant, will continue to return again and again.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many, many years and have rarely been disappointed. The service is very good and food is consistantly good. Have encountered a few problems in the past ( with fruit flies) but they seem to have fixed this as I haven't seen any in a while. The prices are reasonable...but not cheap (especially the... More
