Terrific!

The ambiance is inviting and pleasant. Not too noisy. The service was superb! The server was very knowledgeable about the wine list and even let us exchange our choice for another (it was a wine served by the glass, so no loss.). The wine list is pricey! We had the carrot soup--delicious! And we... read more

We dined here last night with friends and had a wonderful time. The food was superb, the Pinot Grigio yummy, the service was excellent, the music mix had us dancing at our table! Can't wait to return!

Ambience is great. Food is amazing. They have one of the best tenderloin steak in town. So good I had to order two :)

I have tried a lot of restaurants in Houston over the last few months and this is by far the best dining experience I have had in Houston and one of the best anywhere. The kitchen is setup awesome and the food was amazing! They have private rooms for companies or parties. Chef's menu is amazing and so are the... More

We took our 90 year old French Friend to celebrate the Holidays. Starting with the Foie Gras and ending with tart a tin, the meal was perfect. All four of us enjoyed our appetizer, entree and desert choices. I was lucky enough to taste most of the choices and can confirm the quality of all four. Our French friend normally... More

We came here for a dinner before a show. We had the carrot soup, Caesar salad, the grouper and snapper. For dessert, we had the creme brûlée and port wine. The food was excellent with good presentation. The staff was attentive, while giving us space to eat. We choose to sit away from the bar where you could watch the... More

We had the tasting menu at this restaurant and everything was wonderful--great service, gourmet food, and a romantic atmosphere. The chef outdid himself in his preparation.

We greatly anticipated this experience. Nice atmosphere, though I dislike sitting with strangers within elbow distance when nobody wants to make eye contact let alone a smile. would rather have sat at the "food bar" which looked way more fun. My lamb was definitely over cooked when my waiter asked for it to be rare +, I know I should... More

Simple concept with great chefs and staff. Finally a place in Houston that actually seems to care about food, ambience and the customer. Seating may be a little cozy for some, especially in a town that has some very loud people so book a high top table or sit at the kitchen bar. Another huge plus is he fact that... More

Enjoyed an amazing lunch at Artisans. The restaurant offers a beautifully presented luncheon of three courses for about $30...the food is very fresh, excellently prepared and for the price is an exceptional value. They offer a choice of salad greens with vegetables and shaved Parmesan or the Soup of the day. On our visit, the soup was a superb Tomato... More
