Yum. If you are an adventurous carnivore type, then this is your place. The menu entices with a selection of meats that simply isn't duplicated anywhere in this city. I had the yak burger, it was flavorful and juicy. They top everything with your choice of sauce, all made in house and unique in flavor. No worries about selecting a... More

Can't really comment on the food because both times I have attempted to go there they have totally ignored me while I sat for 5 minutes at the drive thru. One time...I can over look but twice? Come on... Either get a better system or a more attentive staff.

First time ever eating in a restaurant that only serves exotic food but I was not disappointed. I had the venison burger along with the deep fried pickles and french fries. The group I was with had everything from the bison burger, to the various sausage they serve. Everything was excellent. The place can get busy and they have limited... More

We've had various versions of their empanadas, sausage dogs, burgers and salads. We've yet to be disappointed! Have to say, a little burned out on some of my favorite burger joints around town until I found Sammy's. Whether you're craving a dog or burger, you won't be disappointed! If you're into spicy, try the ghost pepper sauce on something...it's by... More

They have burgers or sausages made from elk to kangaroo. If you are game (no pun intended) this is a good place to start to get a taste. Get different meat sausages and see if you can tell the difference. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We had tried the pheasant sausage at the Houston Hot Sauce Festival, and knew we had to try this place for real! I went for lunch. The place was clean and has free wi-fi. The service was good. We both ordered the sliders, which included elk, kangaroo, and venison. They each came with a sauce that was yummy. The sweet... More

Sammy's has a wide selection of wild game meats for burgers and hot dogs. The buns and toppings are part of the delightful experience of enjoying unusual meats. We went at lunchtime on a weekday and the place was about 60% full. There is limited parking so it is usually necessary to park on the street(s) nearby. The service was... More
