Really good

I will not be original saying that is not the kind of restaurant you are expecting from a mall restaurant, but as soon as you get in, you're out of the mall and can experience some true good Chinese food. I stopped by on Thursday 4-9-15 approx 7pm and just stopped by the front counter to buy some orange juice, so I didn't think anything of it for the $3 charge since it's typical for a galleria type mall, but then I got my statement and it indicated that I was charged $6. Buyer beware because there's is someone who... More

As others have written, E-Tao far exceeds what you might expect in a mall restaurant--even if the mall is the Houston Galleria, one of the best malls in the world. We dropped in after shopping and started with Chicken Spring Rolls--they were good, but the dishes that followed were exceptionally good. The Lettuce Wraps were every bit as good as... More

A great place for a light meal in the Galleria with full service rather than the food court. Good dim sum and decent chinese dishes with enthusiastic if slightly disorganised service. Well worth a trip.

E-Tao has an extensive menu of unique Asian foods. We had dumplings (based on TA reviews), a pineapple/seafood fried rice and a lomein dish with meat. All were very good. We typically visit Chinatown while in Houston, but we may return to e-Tao instead. The restaurant was clean, but a little noisy. Service was excellent, the waitress answered all of... More

First off: they have avocado smoothies! Always a draw for me. All of the staff I interacted with were very nice. The waiter took my food allergies seriously and even came back to let me know of some potentially related ingredients. The food was very good - I had the honey garlic scallion chicken (from the Chef's Specialties part of... More

We ordered the shrimp dumplings and the curried noodles. It was all very fresh with no MSG, and truly delicious! The dumplings had a scrumptious dumpling sauce on them, and the noodles had chicken, pork and shrimp in them. I am already craving those dumplings and may go back tomorrow! Give this little place a try! It is in the... More

When you think of Mall food you do NOT expect E-Tao! Great place to eat on lunch break, in between shopping, or making a trip into the Galleria for some yummy Dim Sum. I love getting the Dim Sum appetizer for my meal. Great variety because there is just so much to choose from. Enjoy-its definitely a place to stop... More

Food with flavors of China. Freshly made and seasoned just right. Good size portions Shanghai Soup Dumplings like China. Yummy

I eat here regularly with my wife. It is located near Nordstroms in the Galleria. The dishes are always authentic and tasty. I highly recommend it.
