This is my favorite bar in Houston, theres an great game-friendly inside full of comfortable booths and an outside patio that is relaxing. They also had some really fun world-cup events. I had been on a mission to find good pub food, in particular fish adn chips and couldn't find it anywhere until I came here! This fish and chips... More

First visit to what is now "The Phoenix on Westheimer". Went with a friend and we tried a few things. The calamari batter was good, but not perfectly cooked. I had the fish and chips, the fish was excellent but the chips were just so-so. They were a little soggy. The wings had good flavor and cooked well, but could... More

I went here with a group of people and we had a really nice time. It is a good size place decorated in pub attire and leaning towards a sports bar. The food was average but the drinks and service were really nice and affordable. Full bar, friendly atmosphere, good time!

We visited this past weekend. It was our second time there. We had our kids along on a Saturday night. Great pub atmosphere, great service. Fish was greasy (fish & chips dinner). English spouse had the steak & Guiness pie--very tasty.

We've been meaning to stop by this place for a long time but never seem to be able to find a place to park. It's one of the disadvantages of this part of town for sure! One afternoon around 2 we were actually hoping to hit the new spot down Westheimer - Hay Merchant. But they don't open til 3... More

Beautiful pub! We tried the classic Scotch Eggs, very unusual and yummy. I had the chicken pot pie, best ever!! My husband had the Mac and cheese and loved it. The beer was ice cold and the TV's were huge! After the game the TV's rolled up. Pretty cool.

It feels like a chain but who cares when there is a large number of draft beer to choose from and the food is consistantly good-- it's a pub--lots of neighbors walk here--everyone is smiling and it's always busy.
