Really nice and quiet

Food was good. I asked for pork dumpling and 1/4 duck with rice. My friend asked for a squid and octopus salad. Service was just right.

I had a great time , everything was gooD ,.. The service was quick, you can bring your onw drink like , you can bring with you your onw whine .... But if you bring with you your onw drink you have to pay 2 pounds each ,... But is fair.... The food was great . Is a cleaning place... More

We go here fairly often when craving Asian cuisine. Typically quick service from unhappy Asian people who seem to be robotic in a way. Overall great food and clean restaurant. Nice large space inside so you do not get that rush rush feeling from the waiters trying to clear you out. Good spot for family.

There are VERY few restaurants that inspire me to immediately post a review here, unless I had a negative experience, but Tay Do is one. Today, Tuesday 06DEC2013, I was having a particularly, extremely, bad day and I happened upon Tay Do. I had essentially given up on humanity and didn't want to even be near people in general. The... as so many of our favorite viet restaurants do not serve bbq spare ribs, tay do's menu drew us in. no disappointment. delicious juicy well seasoned and generous portion at $10.95 other dishes we enjoyed were the crispy calamari and the king pao shrimp.

Enjoyed lunch with friends at Tay Do. We all picked from the special luncheon menu and were not disappointed - freshly prepared and extremely tasty. this is a no rush place and the regular menu is something that I'll be going back to enjoy more. The location is out of the way so look closely and don't pass it by.

From the outside it looks very nice, but the inside is like a banquet hall. Decor isn't bad, there is just limited privacy and it isn't super nice. The service provided was okay, we got everything we needed, order was correct, but again nothing special. The food tasted better than average Asian food but nothing to set it apart. I... More

We became "regulars" at Tay Do in 1994. The food and service are so consistently excellent that we never tire of the food and atmosphere. Our favorite dish is steam pot, "Ta Pin Lu" -- extra spicey. This is a family operation in the truest sense and the consistency proves it!

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years and it is hands down the best Asian restaurant in Houston. Tay Do serves Chinese and Vietnamese food and a good variety of each. Everything we've tried, we have liked. The food is excellent. The service is alright/average; the Asian culture primarily focuses on the taste of food... More
