This place not only serves quality cuts of meat, but the taste of the meat is excellent. Too many places sacrifice flavour for tenderness - not here. Rich robust flavours to complement some good Argentinian Malbecs. Service was fine - nothing exceptional, but nothing bad. Only issue is that while having Argentinian (or South American) wait-staff adds authenticity, it doesn't... More

This is the first time going to Tango Malbec. I was a excited since the last time I had Argentinian food was in New York way back in the 80's. The restaurant is beautifully done.... love the décor and very clean. unfortunately, service was terrible, don't know if it had to do with where we were sitting or what was... More

Looking at the menu, the proposals are more expensive than those of other restaurants of same level and the served quantity is definitively smaller than in other restaurants. The list of wine is correct even if, again, quite expensive. The personnel is not well addressed and you are served by too many persons at same time thus creating disorder, the... More

I can't remember his name, but there was a large group of us, all first timers in houston, the man who served us what's great, super friendly, entertaining, helped us select food and did wine matching for us. the food was great, the wine as better and the service was excellent.

This was my second visit and I appreciate this restaurant even more! I took my wife and daughter who are not fans of red meat. My wife had salmon and daughter had chicken and they loved their food. My father in law and I had the mixed grill of meats for two and the food was fantastic. The service is... More

We stayed at the hotel just across the road and were delighted to find this restaurant. Coming from overseas, we feel that there are so many generic and chain "restaurants" in America and it's not always easy to find "real" freshly cooked food and good wine. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There was a superb choice of cuts... More

Just returned from dinner and had to review!! While our dinner was very good (we had the salmon ravioli and Caesar salad) the service was so bad that we will probably never return. There are too many excellent choices in the Galleria area to settle.

I love Argentinian. Mash that with exotic game like ostrich or elk. They do it right here. Yes to the gnocchi. Yes to the Milanesa. Appetizers like the mango salad - check! No to American- styled deep fried Calamari. Here it's a rubbery flank steak. Inedible. The desserts are killah. Service impeccable. Tango dancers start at 8 Saturday. If you're... More

We've been to Tango and Malbec a number of times and it never disappoints. Waiters are very friendly, the ambience is stupendous, tango music and occasionally dancers are great and the food is delicious. They have a large selection of wines, malbecs being the best. Make sure you try the appetizers, they are to die for, including the argentine sausage,... More
