Nice Atmosphere - Great Food

We went to III Forks for the first time for Valentine's weekend. Really enjoyed the ambience, service and food. The menu was a little limited due to Valentines weekend so I'd like to go back and see the regular full dinner menu. We had surf and turf and it was very well prepared and presented... read more

I had bigger expectations on this place. It has a classical steakhouse decoration, service and environment, which I like, but they charge the same as other houses that have superior steak, such as Vic & Anthony's. To be more competitive, they should either reduce the price a bit or improve the food.

Superb Fillet Steak here! Calamari entree was perfect! An excellent selection of well kept wines. A little pricey - but to be expected for down town. Highly recommend for a special occasion meal. Customer service impeccable!

Fine establishment? Then when you order beef to a specific doneness you expect to get it at least close. The wait staff was pretty attentive, service overall was not bad, but the executive chef apparently had the night off. We were a group of 7. About 6:15 we were one of only about 4 tables and it barely got any... More

I have just spent all night in the bathroom following an expensive dinner last night. The food was above average, the service excellent and the prices certainly can get up there. I have to fly in a few hours but honestly don't want to leave my hotel bed and bathroom.

Believe the hype. Excellent in all regards: atmosphere, food and service. Can't say enough about the service. Top notch from Omar, Asst Mgr to all of the staff. Oh, desert oh la la. Top off with VIP Irish Creame. We'll return next time in Houston. In the meantime Go Tribe!!

We went here for some good steak, based on so many reviews, only to be disappointed. My meal was very salty; steak, potatoes and brussel sprouts. I was amazed that so much salt was added to the food considering the awareness of sodium's effect on everyone's health these days. Our waiter was not like those in Dallas, who were friendly,... A very close friend took me there for my birthday and the restaurant and their food just blew me away... Their III Forks house salad was incredible and I'll be going back just for that if nothing else. The Lobster Bisque was very tasty and the Pork Chops with the Peach BBQ Sauce and Balsamic Glaze along with their Asparagus... More

To be honest I had a couple of OK cocktails, the Charcuterie appetizer and the happy hour burger. They were all OK, but if I closed my eyes I could have been in any one of a thousand so-so steak joints you can find in Anywhere, USA. Nothing memorable ... except the price of course.
